Diario De Peter Parker 2 Capítulo 1 L O S 2 4 A Ñ O S ( C O N T I N U A C I Ó N ) 1.1 TORMENTO SM 1 Spider-Man atrapa a un simple ratero. C: El Lagarto y Calypso no aparecían, res- pectivamente, desde AS 313 y SSM 65. Calypso obliga al villano a atacar a Spider-Man. Spider-Man vuelve, destrozado, a casa. C: El Lagarto y Calypso reaparecen, res- pectivamente, en AS 365 y DD 310. SM 3 19.

Origin stories for superheroes and supervillains frequently appear in the plots of comic books long after the characters were created and with the shift in the stable of artists involved, different and sometimes competing events in the characters' biographies are revealed. This is particularly true of series that have enjoyed long periods of popularity or those that were phased out and then later revived. The stimulus for this m1icle was the origin story conceived for the X-Men supervillain Magneto under Chris Claremont's plotting, after the series was resurrected in 197 5 and by the foregrounding of Magneto's Holocaust past in the opening sequence to Bryan Singer's 2000 filmX-Men.

  • Slacum Memoirs
Antebellum Reminiscences of Alexandria, Virginia Extracted from the Memoirs of Mary Louisa Slacum Benham Transcribed and Organized by Anna Modigliani Lynch and Kelsey Ryan Office of Historic Alexandria/Alexandria Archaeology City of Alexandria 2009 The information presented in this document has been extracted from the manuscript of the memoirs of Mary Louisa Slacum Benham, which can be found in box number 62 at the Barrett Library on Queen Street in Alexandria, Virginia. Mary Louisa Slacum Benham’s memoirs, written circa 1880, reflect back on her life in Alexandria, Virginia, as well as her marriage and her travels throughout the United States. The intent of examining this manuscript was to focus on Mary Louisa’s reminiscences of Alexandria and to extrapolate any information pertinent to the history of the town; thus the date of the excerpts included here are largely concentrated in the period from 1800 to 1840. Although the manuscript is not presented here in its entirety, the most relevant passages have been extrapolated verbatim and are shown in quotes. Summaries are provided for context and direction for anyone seeking additional information on those subjects. The text has been divided into the folders in which the manuscript is organized at Alexandria Library - Local History/Special Collections. Other topical headings are provided as a finder aid for this document. While Ms. Benham’s memoirs have been previously published (Recollections of Old Alexandria and Other Memories of Mary Louisa Slacum Benham 1802 – 1884 by Elizabeth Jane Stark, 1972), this document seeks to clarify specific wording and to organize the information for those interested in Alexandria history.
