All pullers are subject to testing for stimulants. If you are bringing an uncatalogued Pulling Horse, please contact office so we can make room for stalls. IMPORTANT We recommend cold shots, bring receipt along, have it and Coggins Test and your health papers together, and present them when you check your animals in at the Dock area to tag. Flu, rhino, cold shots and health papers only enhance the sale of your horse. Please note, Coggins and health papers are required for interstate transport. BELgIAN COLTS SOLD “ELIgIBLE TO REgISTER” Due to concern expressed over Belgian colts being sold through auctions as “eligible to register” and the difficulty of the buyer to obtain completed paper- work after the sale, the Mid-Ohio Draft Horse Sale has issued the following statement: That anyone consigning an animal to an auction as “eligible to register” furnish the auction with the completed registration and transfer applications prior to the sale and that any consignor not doing so have their animal sold as a grade. Eligibility papers can be picked up on day of sale. All Mares that are sold to be bred must have the breeding fees paid by the consignor.

Included are (1) incorporated places identified by the U.S. Bureau of the Census in the 2000 Census of Population and Housing; (2) census designated places, formerly called unincorporated places, identified by the U.S. Bureau of the Census; (3) certain towns and townships; and (4) military installations identified by the Department of Defense and the U.S. Bureau of the Census. The geographic place of occurrence of the vital event is coded to the state and county or county equivalent level; the geographic place of residence is coded to at least the county level. Incorporated places of residence of 10,000 or more population and certain towns or townships defined as urban under special rules also have separate identifying codes. Specific geographic areas are represented by five-digit codes. The first two digits (1-54) identify the state, District of Columbia, or U.S. Possession. The last three digits refer to the county (701-999) or specified urban place (001-699). Information in this manual is presented in two sections for each state. Section I is to be used for classifying occurrence and residence when the reporting of the geographic location is complete.

Origin stories for superheroes and supervillains frequently appear in the plots of comic books long after the characters were created and with the shift in the stable of artists involved, different and sometimes competing events in the characters' biographies are revealed. This is particularly true of series that have enjoyed long periods of popularity or those that were phased out and then later revived. The stimulus for this m1icle was the origin story conceived for the X-Men supervillain Magneto under Chris Claremont's plotting, after the series was resurrected in 197 5 and by the foregrounding of Magneto's Holocaust past in the opening sequence to Bryan Singer's 2000 filmX-Men.

  • 2017 Summerhill Stud Sale of Mares and Weanlings
“As One Door Closes, Another One Opens…” There is never a good time to do this, more so as it involves the dispersal of the families that have brought international recognition to Summerhill. When our former stud manager John Slade, was assisting with our mating plans last July, he was charmed by the layered evolution of our broodmares through generations of the leading stallions Northern Guest, Home Guard, Liloy, Rambo Dancer, National Emblem, Fard, Kahal and Muhtafal, all of them “top ten” luminaries, several of them national champions in one category or another. While this is an emotional time for all of us, it’s an opportune one for our colleagues. Our good friend Graham Beck, laid the foundations for his stellar successes at Highlands and Maine Chance through his legendary “raids” on their stock, as well as those of the Noreen, Scott Bros. and Hartford studs. For our own part, the partnerships we’d assembled in 1987 were dispersed on their maturity in 1998, and we were left with just 26 mares on the farm; seven years later, through our re- investment in those families, we’d won the first of ten national premierships. Famously, the dams of Jet Master, Royal Chalice, Angus and Pierre Jourdan, among many others, were acquired right here, as was Varsfontein’s “Blue Hen”, Secret Pact. While Summerhill’s successes owe much to the stallions that’ve decorated our barn over the decades, it’s arguable that we’ve never been better served than in the outstanding young sprinter-milers currently doing duty here, Act Of War, Capetown Noir, Willow Magic and Linngari; they comprise the bulk of the covering sires in the catalogue.
