Nach der Auflösung machte sich Mason unter so schönen Künstlernamen wie King Biscuit Time und Black Affair selbstständig, bis er 2010 endlich sein erstes Solo-Album „Boys Outside“ auf den Markt brachte. Jetzt hat der erklärte Mod wieder einmal einen neuen Weg gesucht: Nach zwei weiteren Platten unter eigenem Namen erscheint Anfang 2019 „About The Light“, ein Werk, das er sensationeller Weise einfach so mit einer großen Band mit Backgroundsängerinnen komplett im Studio eingespielt hat.
