Abstract: A list of almost all fungi collected and identified during the 34. Mykologische Dreiländer- tagung in Litschau, Lower Austria, 2009 is presented. Altogether, 754 fungal taxa were collected, viz. 500 Agaricales s. l., 180 Aphyllophorales s. l., 63 Ascomycota and 11 others. Comments on and de- scriptions of some interesting finds and a colour photograph of some rare species are given. Zusammenfassung: Eine Liste fast aller Pilze, die während der 34. Mykologischen Dreiländertagung in Litschau, Niederösterreich, 2009, gesammelt und bestimmt wurden, wird vorgestellt. Insgesamt wurden 754 Pilztaxa gesammelt, davon 500 Agaricales, Russulales und Boletales, 180 Aphyllophora- les s. l., 63 Ascomycota und 11 Sonstige. Resupinatehomobasidiomycetes have beeninterpreted either asa paraphyletic grade ofplesiomorphic formsor apolyphyletic assemblage ofreducedforms. The former view suggeststhat morphological evolutionin homobasidiomyceteshas beenmarked byindependentelab- oration in many clades,whereas the latter view suggeststhat parallel simplication has beena common modeof evolution.To infer patternsof morphological evolution in homobasidiomycetes,we constructed phylogenetic treesfrom adatasetof 481 speciesand performed ancestral statereconstruction (ASR) using parsimony andmaximum likelihood (ML)methods. ASR with both parsimony andML implies that the ancestorof the homobasidiomycetes was resupinate, and that therehave beenmultiple gains andlosses ofcomplex formsin thehomobasidiomycetes. Marian Apparitions in Comparison Just as Marpingen was called the ”German Lourdes” by contemporaries so was Dietrichswalde called the “East Prussian Marpingen”. Since the appearance of the Virgin Mary in Lourdes in 1858 dozens of Marian apparitions throughout Europe have been reported. Against this background, the article compares the two pilgrimages in the western and eastern border territories of Prussia. Methodologically, the treatise refrains from theological argumentation. It is rather committed to studies of social and cultural history with their socio-historic analytical categories like power, class, status, gender. The apparitions in Dietrichswalde are typologically similar to other Marian apparitions in Central Europe in the 19th century. Yet, the differences and specific qualities must not be overlooked. The visionaries of Dietrichswalde belonged to a minority speaking a Polish dialect in Southern Warmia. They were strongly influenced by Polish national piety. During the “Kulturkampf” (culture struggle, culture clash) the Warmian Poles were challenged by the Prussian government to defend their claim on language. Prussian authorities had dissolved Lonk Monastery in West Prussia of former Prussia belonging to a royal Polish part of the country. The visionaries hoped for a restoration of the monastery by the Virgin Mary. Into the present, especially since the time of the Polish millennium in 1966 and after the approbation of the apparitions by the Polish church in 1977, the sanctuary of Dietrichswalde remained an often visited destination of pilgrimage. It had a similar political function for the German church when, in the thirties, Bishop Maximilian Kaller made it a centre of religious demonstrations of Germans and Poles against the oppression by Nazism. -

The nature of their interactions with other living and abiotic elements is a consequence of their osmotrophism. The ability to degrade complex compounds and especially plant biomass makes them a key component of the global carbon circulation cycle. Since the first fungal genomic sequence was published in 1996 mycology has benefited from the technolgical progress. The available data create an unprecedented opportunity to perform massive comparative studies with complex study design variants targeted at all cellular processes. As a consequence of field and laboratory studies, 31 Tricholoma species have been identified, and five of them (T. filamentosum, T. frondosae, T. quercetorum, T. rufenum, and T. sudum) have been reported for the first time from Turkey.
