Scholarship Title: Study Abroad in Scholarships for Armenian American Students

Description: The Turkish Coalition of America is a public charitable organization founded to promote goodwill between the and Turkey and to enhance a better understanding of Turkish American issues through public education.

The Turkish Coalition of America would like to support aboard opportunities for Armenian American students to enhance contacts between and Armenian Americans, as well as help establish dialogue and build mutual understanding. Through these scholarships, The Turkish Coalition of American (TCA) hopes to enable the share history of both cultures to resurface through mutual dialogue and understanding.

Eligibility: Undergraduate or graduate students who is • A U.S. Citizen of Armenian origin • Enrolled full-time, in good standing at an accredited U.S. college or university. • Accepted into a Study Abroad program at a university in Turkey or Turkish of Northern (TRNC)

Transcript must be included with your application, not sent separately.)

Award: For study in Turkey or the Turkish Republic or Northern Cyprus (TRNC), scholarships range from $500 to $2,000 and are as follow: • $2,000 for a semester or year • $1,000 for studying the • $1,000 for summer programs lasting for more that 4 weeks • $500 for summer programs lasting up to 4 weeks sponsored by U.S. educational institutions or Turkish/TRNC universities
