Students choose leading participating medical genetics institutions, approved by ACMG, for a 6- week period during the Summer between their first and second years of , to work under the direct supervision of experienced medical geneticists. Each student receives a stipend of $420 per 40 hour work week for this period with a ACMG Foundation for Genetic maximum amount of $2520.
