With Baba’s Grace and Blessings, many programmes were organised by the four main wings of the Organisations during this period.

The Education Wing takes care of Baba’s unique ‘Bal Vikas Program’ that focuses on inculcating the Human Values of , , Shanti, Prema and to children through a structured process using tools like silent sitting, storytelling, chanting of shlokas and value games etc. and is spread over a period of 9 years. This program was carried out in many districts of Uttar Pradesh & Uttarakhand by our dedicated Bal Vikas and motivated by our State Education Coordinator Dr. Kavita Bhatnagar who was assisted by the Joint State Education Coordinator Smt. The Seva Wing, which plans and coordinates all activities of Selfless Service as an offering to the Lord and also conducts the 15 day State Seva at Prashanti Nilayam from 15 th to 31 st March and 1st to 15 th June, played an appreciable role in taking Baba’s Divine Mission to the homes and hearts of our less privileged brothers and sisters through carefully planned and executed Seva activities. This wing was headed by Sri Dhananjay Sharma, our State Gents Seva Coordinator and Smt. Sharanjit Kaur, our State Mahila Seva Coordinator. The Youth Wing, comprising of young boys and girls of the two states, was involved in many activities of the Organisation like Blood Donation camps and Gram Seva etc. The Youth Wing was ably headed by our State Youth Coordinators Sri Sachin Neb (Gents) and Km. Prashanti Upadhyaya (Mahila).

A unique extension of the Youth Wing is the wonderful Sri Sathya Sai Jyoti Program which aims at improving the quality of education in Government run Schools by improving infrastructure and also motivating and encouraging children, parents and teachers for a more fulfilling educational experience. The Bal Vikas program is also an integral part of this activity. This program was headed and driven by our State Coordinator for Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Jyoti Sri Rahul Upadhyaya.

Our Disaster Management Team headed by Col. Yogendra Kumar and assisted by Sri Tushar Joshi conducted extensive training and refresher courses to young and dedicated boys and girls throughout the states and also helped saving many lives during the flash floods due to cloudbursts in Uttarakhand.

Our Prashanti Service (PS) Coordinator Sri Dhananjay Sharma ably guided and motivated his team to perform its critical role in maintaining peace and order in the Prashanti Nilayam Ashram.

Our Information Technology Coordinator and Rural Vocational Training Coordinator Sri Amitabh Saran, our Books and Publications Coordinator Sri Vijai Prakash and our State Coordinator for Sri Sathya Sai Village Integrated Program Sri Gyanendra Asthana executed their roles with devotion in their respective responsibilities.

During the year, many Samities were rejuvenated with focused and coordinated State level Spiritual, Bal Vikas and Seva activities which were conducted on the same day across both the states.

Our State Trust, through its Trust members Sri V.N. Upadhyaya and Sri Deepak Nautiyal did a commendable job in effectively managing the Sai School in Rishikesh and the Sai Centres in Dehradun, Rishikesh, Kanpur and Allahabad. The Rishikesh School offers holistic academic and spiritual education to its students who continue to shine and deliver excellent results in board examinations as well as extra curricular activities. On 9 th and 10 th of September 2016 the Sathya Sai Trust inaugurated the country’s first Sathya Sai Ghat on the banks of the Holy Ganga at Rishikesh. This historic event was attended by Trustees of Sri Sathya Sai Trust, Prashanti Nilayam, all Senior members of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, both and International, and hundreds of devotes from all over the country.

All activities of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations and Sri Sathya Sai Trust of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand are inspired and guided by our Lord, Mentor and Guide - Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba and we pray to Him to make us worthy of becoming able instruments in His Divine Mission of spreading His Message of Love and Selfless Service to mankind.
