All ambitious projects which had been identified as political priorities do now enforce the image which the municipality likes to cultivate: to provide the best school parameters possible for our children. Thus, over the last two decades, a unique place for education, culture and leisure events has been created at the campus “ Atert “. As many other communes took up this model, we see our investments in the future as indoubtedly confirmed ! For many years, Bertrange has registered a strong population growth. By the need to constantly adapt the public infrastructures, the demolition of the old elementary school “ beim Schlass “ in wich, for almost 50 years, an impressive number of pupils attended classes, was decided. Thus, there was room for a new modern school, which meets primary pupils’ needs and teachers’ expectations. The “ nei Schoul beim Schlass “ opens for the start of the school year 2017/2018 and will be officially inaugurated on Wednesday, 13th September in presence of the minister of education. FIRST SCHOOL DAY 2017/2018 Friday, 15th September 2017 Cycles 1 early childhood education, 1.1 and 1.2: 8.05 Cycles 2, 3 and 4: 7.50 Dear parents, Please note that Friday, 15th September 2017 is a full school day. So, all the pupils are off school after the afternoon classes. 2. TIMETABLE CYCLE 1 EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION in the morning in the afternoon Monday to Friday 8.05 to 12.00 14.00 to 15.45 Tuesday, Thursday 8.05 to 12.00 no classes Saturday no classes no classes Dear parents, The cycle 1 early childhood education classes are optional; so the indicated timetable is not binding. Your child does not have to take part in the classes during the whole week. However, we ask you to make him/her attend at a regular rhythm. The child should preferably not wear nappies anymore. Children enroled for cycle 1 early childhood education are also allowed to attend after school care centre, school restaurant and school bus. If you would like to enrol your child for the supervision services before or after school hours, please contact the early childhood educators, Ms Monique Schuster, Ms Elvira Staiano, Ms Lynn Simon or Ms Fanny Toisul. This service is free of charge and takes place as follows: the supervision, before school hours: from 7.30 in the morning building “ Butzenhaus ” from 13.30 in the afternoon the supervision, after school hours: until 12.20 in the morning building “ Butzenhaus ” until 16.15 in the afternoon Please pick up your child on time.
