Objective: To outscore the opponents by following game and sportsman rules Equipment: Team Handball, or gator skinned equivalent size Pinnies or jerseys for team differentiation Goals (Standards, /soccer goals) Game: 1. Teams of 5-6 player on the field at one time 2. Begin play via Jump similar to 3. Ball scores 1 point within boundaries for without entering goal zone 4. Any body part may contact the ball EXCEPT Lower legs and Feet (No soccer) 5. A player may hold the ball for NO MORE than 5 seconds - Stationary action 6. Palming or turning over the ball – palm starts under the ball but ends up on top of the ball within the same “bounce” pattern b. Passes are bounce, chest, overhead in manner c. Guarding is close in proximity but no contact between players is permitted i. Man-to-man Defense ii. Zone Defense d. Personal Fouls i. No hand-to-body contact permitted ii. Blocking (impeding the passage of ball carrier without being set in position) iii. Charging (running down a “set” defensive player) fouls are charged as personal fouls 7. Prohibitions a. Intentionally passing back to own team goalie b. to floor to scramble for ball (except goalie) c. Obstructing a player without the ball from moving in court/field

d. Push or force a player into goal zone e. Intentionally throwing the ball at opponent 8. The Goalie/Goal Zone a. Only the Goalie is allowed in the Goal Zone i. If full court basketball is used = the 3-pt line ii. Short Full Court = Basketball Key area b. Defensive entry into goal zone = Offensive Penalty Shot (top of the goal zone) c. Offensive Goal Zone entry = No shot and Goalie Free Throw-out d. Goalie may use any part of body to block the goal shot once the ball enters the Goal Zone e. Goalie can leave the Goal Zone but then must act and respond as a regular field player f. The goalie may not score goals on opponent while in own Goal Zone g. After a goal is scored, the goalie must throw the ball to a defensive player (that is a player who is not across the half court/field line) 9. Types of Throws a. Out of Bounds = 2-hand overhead throw from baseline (soccer style) i. Sideout – Made when the ball crosses the sideline out of play ii. Corner – A defensive ball that crosses the baseline out of play b. Violation or Foul i. Indirect – puts ball into play after infraction/violation in court/field; any type of throw but cannot score directly into goal; defense must be 10 feet away from original throw ii. Direct – Puts ball into play after a serious violation/personal foul in court/field; Can score directly into goal
