Ground Floor The light airy hallway welcomes you to the property. Off the hallway you find the good sized dining room to the right and the sitting room to the left and the downstairs cloakroom.

The sitting room is a large space offering a great place to entertain family and friends and flows beautifully through to the music room through the glass-panelled double doors. The gas fireplace with white surround and beige marble back and hearth makes a lovely feature to this room.

The music room currently houses a baby grand piano but also lends itself to being a study/snug room.

The kitchen is fitted with bespoke wall and base units, porcelain tiled floor with underfloor heating, rangemaster fridge and freezer, integral dishwasher, rangemaster oven and extractor fan. It offers ample storage and a central island. The utility leads off the kitchen and has space and plumbing for a washing machine and tumble dryer and includes built in wall units.

From the music room to the rear of the property you find the sun room which leads out through French doors to the beautifully landscaped courtyard garden making the perfect place to spill out to the garden during those warmer summer months.

We love receiving visitors and we tend to gather around the island in the kitchen, which is the hub of the home. Meanwhile, the sunroom overlooks the easily maintained courtyard garden and is great for breakfast on lazy mornings, and relaxing evenings listening to music. “This has been a happy family home and we have loved living here!”

Outside, the courtyard garden is easily maintained, with a spacious patio area and a shed. “It’s the ideal spot to enjoy meals outside, as well as drinks with friends. It’s very private, fully enclosed and provides a beautiful extension of the inside space.”

“We will greatly miss the peaceful position of the property. We love the view from the upstairs front windows across the field, it’s very restful. And the sunrise and sunset skies are to die for, beautiful in every season.”

“The house and garden are perfect for entertaining and we’ve celebrated some big anniversaries and special birthdays with friends and family here. In summer, we enjoy a barbecue on the private back deck, while at Christmas, we festoon the front elevation with strings of lights, outlining the entrance, right up to the apex, and even the potted plants!”*
