Setting up Your University on Outlook

In order to setup your University email in Outlook, you must first download and install the Connector for Outlook. This document contains instructions for both a University PC and your personal PC. ______

University Owned PCs 1. With Outlook CLOSED > click the Windows icon > type in Center > click Software Center

2. In Software Center click Zimbra Connector for Microsoft > click Install

3. The software will automatically install from this point. Once completed the “Install” button will change to say “Uninstall” at that point you can close Software Center. 4. Open Outlook > click Next

5. Choose Yes

6. Select Manual setup or additional types > Next

7. Select Other > Zimbra Collaboration Server > Next

8. Enter in Server Name, & Password > OK

Once you click OK your Zimbra will start to sync. Please be patient, large email accounts will take a while to sync everything.

Personally Owned PCs 1. Open a web browser and navigate to - https://www.zimbra.com/downloads/zimbra-connector-for- outlook/ 2. With Outlook CLOSED > Download & install the Zimbra Connector for Outlook that corresponds with your platform. 3. Open Outlook > click Next

4. Choose Yes

5. Select Manual setup or additional server types > Next

6. Select Other > Zimbra Collaboration Server > Next

7. Enter in Server Name, Email Address & Password > OK

Once you click OK your Zimbra mail will start to sync. Please be patient, large email accounts will take a while to sync everything.
