Senior Disneyland Grad Nite Trip June 6, 2013 This SENIORS ONLY trip is put on by Disneyland every year to celebrate the graduating seniors from all over California and its surrounding states. This year, the students will be in the park from time of arrival, along with the general public, at both California Adventure AND Disneyland until 10pm. Then the seniors only will be able to stay in California Adventure for a SENIOR ONLY PARTY from 10pm-3am. The park is closed to the public during this time which leaves it exclusively for the graduating class of 2013. There will be bands, dancing, food, souvenirs and of course the park and all of its rides will be open. It will be a lot of fun!! You shouldn’t miss it!!

Thursday, June 6, 2013 Friday, June 7, 2013 5:00 p.m. Meet in the UCHS parking lot. 3:00 a.m. Meet in Disneyland parking lot. 5:30 p.m. Depart UCHS Promptly—late arrivals will be left 3:30 a.m. Depart Disneyland 7:00 p.m. Arrive at Disneyland/ California Adventure 5:00 a.m. Arrive UCHS 7:00-10:00 p.m. Enter Disneyland and California Adventure. 5:00 a.m. Students must be picked up Admission includes unlimited use of selected rides and from UCHS or off school property. No attractions in both parks. supervision will be provided after 5:00am. 10:00-3:00am: Enjoy California Adventure Senior Grad Nite Parents/guardians assume all party, special themed entertainment venues with music and responsibility for their student pick up. dancing, and unlimited use of selected rides and attractions.

Contracts will be available in the ASB room (202) starting on Monday, April 15, 2013 and will be distributed to all seniors that week, and via email on [email protected] .

We only have a limited amount of tickets and they WILL sell out so get them fast! Tickets are on sale Tuesday April 23; Wednesday April 24; Thursday April 25 at lunch in the ASB Room- # 202

The Student Agreement form and payment must be turned in when ticket is purchased! No Exceptions! Do not turn money into the Financial Office. The last day of ticket sales is Thursday April 25, 2013!!! No late payments will be accepted.

TICKET PRICE: $100 (non-refundable) Make your checks payable to UCHS PTSA. Minimum Citizenship GPA Requirement: 2.0

***Written information about any medications needed during the trip must be provided to the chaperones***. Medications must be in original prescription bottle and will be stored with security at the Disney Chaperones Headquarters. Special circumstances regarding medication MUST be worked out ahead of time. If you are concerned about a specific medication need, call or email Brook Feerick at the number and email below. Students may carry inhalers. We’re going up in school buses, as per district policy. No food or drinks will be allowed on the bus or into Disneyland. Please plan to bring enough money to buy all of your food at Disneyland. No guests will be allowed. UCHS Students only!

If you are interested or have any questions, please contact Brook Feerick [email protected] or 858-337-5578 STUDENT AGREEMENT FOR 2013 DISNEY GRAD NITE ACTIVITY As a senior student/parent of a senior student in good standing (academic and citizenship GPA’s of 2.0 as of May 1), I agree to the following to ensure safety and fun for all: 1. I would like to participate in the PTSA sponsored senior activity at Disneyland from 5:00 PM Thursday, June 6, 2013 through 5:00 AM Friday, June 7, 2013. 2. I agree to adhere to all rules and regulations listed below and understand that failure to follow the rules and behave as an excellent representative of my senior class will result in my removal from the activity and forfeiture of all money paid. 3. PTSA and all adult chaperones reserve the right to refuse participation to any student who is found to have broken any of the following rules. Behavior problems between now and the date of the Disneyland activity may result in my removal from the activity and forfeiture of all money paid. This includes, but is not limited to, fighting, suspensions, vandalism, or bringing alcohol, drugs or weapons to the school campus, on the bus, or to Disneyland. 4. Anyone found to be or suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or any other controlled substance will not be allowed to board the bus to Disneyland and will be sent home with parents. Breathalyzers will be available to the security staff. Participants are rechecked by Disneyland staff prior to entering the park and may be refused entrance. (Students who are refused entrance will be accompanied back to the buses and parents will be notified to come to Disneyland to pick them up) 5. Students will not be allowed to bring any food or drink on the bus. Disney will not allow food or drink to be brought into the park, so please plan to bring money for food purchase in the park. 6. Students must arrive at the departure site for the buses promptly. 7. Students must have their school ID to board the bus. 8. Backpacks or large bags of any kind will not be allowed into Disneyland. 9. All carry-on items and clothing are subject to search prior to boarding the bus. 10. Medications should be in clearly labeled containers and will be stored with chaperones at the Disney Chaperones Headquarters. Students may carry inhalers. 11. There is no smoking at Disneyland or . 12. Any item that could be used as a weapon is forbidden and will be confiscated and discarded. 13. Students must travel to and from the Disneyland activity on the PTSA Chartered school bus. 14. Students may not leave Disneyland until the main gates are opened and they are released to return to the buses. 15. I have read, understand and agree to the following Disney Dress Standards: You may not wear: any clothing affiliated with a school, sports team, group, club, etc. (i.e. letterman jackets, clothing with school logos, etc.) You may not wear clothing not in good repair (torn jeans, shirts, etc.). Jeans are OK as long as they are not ripped or torn. You may not wear extremely revealing clothing (i.e. bathing suit tops or bottoms, see-through clothing, etc.)

16. I assume the risk in my student’s participation in the event. I acknowledge that I will not seek to have the PTSA and its volunteers held liable in the event that any accident, injury, loss of property or any other circumstance or incident occurs during or as a result of my student’s participation in this trip. This release of liability includes accident, injury, loss, or damages to the student, as well as, to other individuals or property which may result from the student’s participation in the event. I hereby release and agree to hold harmless the School District, the PTSA and the volunteer chaperones, from any claims arising out of my son’s/daughter’s participation in the event.

17. I, and my parents, accept financial responsibility for any property damage I should cause. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to the school buses.
