I'm Phil Potor and I am a full-time drummer residing in Nashville, TN.

Like many other drummers performing in the Nashville area, I try not to play just one genre of music; I play a bit of everything from Funk, Classic R&B, Hip-Hop, Rock, Metal, Blues, Country, Western Swing, Alternative, Pop, Reggae, and much more.

Upon arriving in Nashville, I fell under the wing and study of Boots Randolph’s drummer and Nashville legend, Ray Von Rotz. After working with Ray for several years, I devoted a large portion of my time to building a repor for myself by picking up work in every direction that I could find it. Since then, I have performed at a wide variety of venues, all of the way from the Honky-Tonk bars on Lower Broadway, The Wildhorse Saloon, The Grand Ole Opry, including venues in Las Vegas and New York City.

At the same time, I also decided that I wanted to go back to college. This time I would pursue a commercial music degree in Music and Music Business at Belmont University Nashville, TN. While attending, I fell under the wing and intensive study of Zoro The Drummer (Lenny Kravitz, Bobby Brown, Frankie Vallie & the Four Seasons), Chester Thompson (, , , Genisis), and Derico Watson (Victor Wooten, Stanley Clarke).

Today, I am currently working on expanding my abilities to innovate new concepts and ideas into today's modern world of performing and recording as a drummer as I currently study with my friend and mentor Rich Redmond (Jason Aldean).
