Teaching areas: managerial and cost accounting, and financial accounting. Research areas: behavioral (sociological) managerial accounting.

3. PROFESSIONAL OBJECTIVE:

To teach undergraduate and graduate courses in managerial and cost accounting, To pursue interdisciplinary research on behavioral issues in management accounting, sustainability reporting, organizational sociology and international development. To participate in administration and service activities within the school, university, community and professional accounting societies.

II. EMPLOYMENT - TEACHING AND RESEARCH EXPERIENCE:

Assistant Professor of Management, Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, 1983-85. Courses taught included: principles of management, principles of economics II (micro), management seminar, administrative policy, managerial statistics and a graduate course in administrative control. Served as chairperson for the curriculum and planning committees. Represented the faculty of the Department of Management and Marketing in the university's academic forum. Developed an undergraduate level introductory course in management information systems.

Adjunct Assistant Professor of Rural Sociology and Research Associate of Rural Development, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, 1979-1980. Conducted research on International Rural Development and Farm Opportunities Program.
