En el ámbito estrictamente universitario, di mis primeros pasos hacia el trabajo de investigación que hoy les presento en la Universidad Pompeu Fabra, donde cursé, entre las calles Balmes y Ramon Trias Fargas, la licenciatura en Humanidades. El hado o mi más discreta voluntad quisieron que iniciara los cursos de doctorado en la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, donde hoy concluyo felizmente un camino repleto de encuentros. Entre la gente que he encontrado están aquellos que apenas cruzaron un amable saludo conmigo y aquellos otros que hicieron un alto en su camino y conversaron, apaciblemente, con el modesto autor de estas líneas. A todos ellos les agradezco cuanto me ofrecieron y confío en haber podido ofrecerles yo, a mi vez, algo más que hueros e intrascendentes vocablos o, como escribiera el gran bardo inglés, palabras, palabras, palabras,... Entre aquellos que me ayudaron a hacer camino se encuentra en lugar destacado el profesor Javier Antón Pelayo que siempre me atendió y escuchó serenamente mis propuestas, por muy extrañas que resultaran. -

Tehran Taxi (Iran 2015) DIRECTOR : Jafar Panahi RUNNING TIME : 82mins RATING : Documentary Synopsis: Banned Iranain director Jafar Panahi takes to the streets of Tehran in a taxi with his camera secreted on the cab’s dashboard. Winner of the Golden Bear Berlin Film Festival 2015 Review:Jonathan Romney Much loose talk is bandied around in the film world about directors’ bravery and the heroism of “guerrilla” film-making – but those terms genuinely mean something when applied to Iran’s Jafar Panahi. After making several robust realist dramas about the challenges of everyday life in his country – among them The Circle, Crimson Gold and the exuberantly angry football movie Offside – Panahi fell foul of the Iranian government, which threatened him with imprisonment, prevented him from travelling and banned him from making films for 20 years. He has protested by working under the wire to make three extraordinary works, contraband statements that are at once a cri de coeur from internal exile, and a bring-it-on raised fist of defiance. This Is Not a Film (2011, directed with Mojtaba Mirtahmasb) showed Panahi cooling his heels under house arrest in his Tehran flat, and evoking the film that he would have made had he been allowed to pick up a camera. He wasn’t technically making an actual film, Panahi argued – yet he was manifestly making one anyway, as the world saw when the result was smuggled to Cannes on a USB stick hidden in a cake. However, the less successful Closed Curtain (2013, directed with Kambuzia Partovi) was a claustrophobically self-referential chamber piece, and suggested that Panahi’s plight was getting the better of him. -

L’adhésion à l’association Ciné Meaux Club est de 10 € pour la saison 2017/2018. Vous pouvez adhérer au guichet du Majestic UGC ou par correspondance en nous faisant parvenir vos coordonnées, une photo d’identité et votre règlement. En retour, nous vous remettrons votre carte d’adhérent, qu’il conviendra de présenter au guichet du cinéma Majestic UGC avant chaque séance. La carte permet d’accéder aux séances programmées par l’association : les séances patrimoniales du mardi ou du jeudi et le flm art et essai hebdomadaire au tarif de 5 €. Certaines séances, à raison d’une fois au moins par mois, sont accompagnées d’une intervention d’un spécialiste du cinéma ou d’un invité. Néanmoins, la programmation comme la présence des intervenants restent sous réserves. Une assemblée générale, moment important de la vie d’une association, est organi- sée chaque année à l’automne. Considered a “comeback” effort following Hayworth’s difficult marriage to Prince Aly Khan, Trinidad was the star's first picture in four years and Columbia Pictures wanted one of their finest cinematographers to shoot it. Beatty (1990).jpg Directed by and starring Warren Beatty, Dick Tracy (1990) was a faithful ode to the timeless detective comic strip. To that end, Beatty and cinematographer Vittorio Storaro, ASC, AIC — seen here setting a shot during production — rendered the film almost entirely in reds, yellows and blues to replicate the look of the comic.
