175747467.Pdf DIZIONARIO DEI FILM WESTERN A cura di Mario Raciti Fonti Dizionario Morandini 2008 Mymovies.it Film.tv.it Dedicato agli amici di Farwest.it A Accidenti, che ospitalità! Western insolito o, meglio, vicenda psicologico- sentimentale in ambiente western. Originale ma inerte. Brillante come sceneggiatore, Kennedy lo è meno come regista. Altro titolo originale: West of Montana. Girato in Regalscope. Spicca R. Julia come generale Santa Ana. Girato in Superscope.

  • Sample Ballot and Voter Information Pamphlet Format
WHAT’S NEW FOR THIS ELECTION Top Two Primary What is it? In 2010, California voters approved Proposition 14 creating the “Top- Two Primary,” which replaced the traditional party-nominated primary. Under the Top-Two Primary laws, all candidates running, regardless of their party preference, appear on a single combined ballot, and voters can vote for any candidate from any political party. The candidates who receive the highest and second-highest number of votes cast at the Primary election advance to the General election. This change applies to federal and state contests, except for President. The rules for non-partisan contests (i.e. counties, cities, school and special districts) did not change. For the Presidential Primary, Party Ballots Still Exist Since the Top Two Primary rules do not affect the election of party nominee for President, party-specific ballots will be issued for this Presidential Primary Election. Only voters who are registered to vote with a specific party are allowed to vote in that party’s Presidential nominee contest. All Other Contests Are Open to All Voters The new rules apply to U.S. Senate, U.S. Congressional, statewide and state legislative offices. Candidates for these offices are no longer nominated by party. As a result, voters can vote for any candidate on the ballot regardless of the candidate’s party preference. These contests are now referred to as “voter-nominated offices.” Again, in these contests, only the two candidates who receive the highest and second-highest vote totals will be on the ballot in the November General Election. Party Preference and Political Party Endorsement The term "party preference" is now used in place of the term "party affiliation”.

  • NY ACKER Awards Is Taken from an Archaic Dutch Word Meaning a Noticeable Movement in a Stream
1 THE NYC ACKER AWARDS CREATOR & PRODUCER CLAYTON PATTERSON This is our 6th successful year of the ACKER Awards. The meaning of ACKER in the NY ACKER Awards is taken from an archaic Dutch word meaning a noticeable movement in a stream. The stream is the mainstream and the noticeable movement is the avant grade. By documenting my community, on an almost daily base, I have come to understand that gentrification is much more than the changing face of real estate and forced population migrations. The influence of gen- trification can be seen in where we live and work, how we shop, bank, communicate, travel, law enforcement, doctor visits, etc. We will look back and realize that the impact of gentrification on our society is as powerful a force as the industrial revolution was. I witness the demise and obliteration of just about all of the recogniz- able parts of my community, including so much of our history. I be- lieve if we do not save our own history, then who will. The NY ACKERS are one part of a much larger vision and ambition. A vision and ambition that is not about me but it is about community. Our community. Our history. The history of the Individuals, the Outsid- ers, the Outlaws, the Misfits, the Radicals, the Visionaries, the Dream- ers, the contributors, those who provided spaces and venues which allowed creativity to flourish, wrote about, talked about, inspired, mentored the creative spirit, and those who gave much, but have not been, for whatever reason, recognized by the mainstream.
