Youth

Would you host a summer youth gathering? We are taking advantage of summer weather for youth to gath- er together in the homes/yards of our church members. Hosting would involve providing a space to gather (outdoors is just fine) and an activity (yard game, campfire, etc.). Snacks are optional. We suggest the gather- ing to take place on a Wednesday evening, but are willing to be flexible with your schedule.

Community Events

Night of Worship Faith Community Church at 207 6th Ave SW invites everyone to bring your lawn church and join them on the church lawn for a night of worship and prayer on Sunday, June 28 @ 7 PM!

Mission Moment Pastor Nate & Rhoda Jore & their children Elijah, Judah, Hannah, Jeremiah, Julia, & Evie Mae are missionaries to Uganda, Africa. Nate and Rhoda began their work there in 2006. They have been able to study the language & cul- ture and build close relationships with the Ugandan people. Thank you so much for your message. We're so grateful & honored to be chosen to be your missionaries of the month for July.

Give a Filter to a Family Sitheang’s son was frequently sick from drinking contaminated water. She didn’t understand the importance of clean water until Samaritan’s Purse gave her family a water filter and taught them about proper hygiene. Now, everyone is much healthier, and through the witness of our teams, Sitheang and many of her neighbors repented of sin and accepted Christ as Savior! Your gift of $100 makes it possible for us to give a family a household filter - providing an ongoing source of pure water - & share the Lord’s great love with them. “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God” (1 John 3:1).

The Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty Maker of Heaven and Earth And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, Suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven; And is seated on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; From where He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the Resurrection of the body, and the Life everlasting. Amen. We Have Come Into His House

Verse 1 We have come into His house And gathered in His name To worship Him; We have come into His house And gathered in His name To worship Him; We have come into His house And gathered in His name To worship Christ the Lord, Worship Him, Jesus Christ the Lord.

Verse 2 So forget about yourself And concentrate on Him And worship Him; So forget about yourself And concentrate on Him And worship Him; So forget about yourself And concentrate on Him And worship Christ the Lord; Worship Him, Jesus Christ the Lord.

Verse 3 Let us lift up holy hands And magnify His name And worship Him. Let us lift up holy hands And magnify His name And worship Him. Let us lift up holy hands And magnify His name And worship Christ the Lord Worship Him, Jesus Christ the Lord.

If My people which are called by My name, Shall humble themselves, shall humble themselves and pray; If My people who are called by My name, Shall seek My face and turn from their wicked ways; Then will I hear from heaven, Then will I hear from heaven, Then will I hear and will forgive, forgive their sin. If my people which are called by My name, Shall humble themselves, shall humble themselves and pray; I will forgive their sin, I will forgive their sin, I will forgive their sin, and heal their land.

Verse 1 In heavenly armor we'll enter the land, The battle belongs to the Lord! No weapon that's fashioned against us will stand, The battle belongs to the Lord! And we sing glory, honor, power and strength to the Lord. We sing glory, honor, power and strength to the Lord.

Verse 2 When the power of darkness comes in like a flood, The battle belongs to the Lord! He's raised up a standard the power of His blood, The battle belongs to the Lord. And we sing glory, honor, power and strength to the Lord. We sing glory, honor, power and strength to the Lord.

Verse 3 When your enemy presses in hard do not fear, The battle belongs to the Lord! Take courage, my friend, your redemption is near, The battle belongs to the Lord! And we sing glory, honor, power and strength to the Lord. We sing glory, honor, power and strength to the Lord.
