An instrument itself, the Concert Hall has been tailored specifically for the artistry of the SPCO and features a blend of architectural beauty, intimate design and acoustical excellence that audiences in the Twin Cities have never before experienced. The Concert Hall will feature acoustics so articulate that listeners will be able to discern the most delicate of orchestral textures while simultaneously being resonant enough that individual instruments will blend to create a uid and beautiful ensemble sound.

Designs for the new Ordway Concert Hall reect years of study and research into the prized acoustics of the traditional concert halls of the late 19th century. At the same time, the design reects modern sensibilities about architectural design, performer needs and audience experience.

The Concert Hall synthesizes the very best of old world traditions with cutting edge design to provide our audience with a concert experience that is unmatched in the Twin Cities.
