Minutes of the Council meeting held on Thursday 30th August 2012

Present: L. Gibbon (Chair), C. Hudson (Clerk), & 4 Members of the Public Open Meeting: A complaint received from a member of the public regarding the noise from The Willowman event. It was explained that apologies had been received from the organisers and that the participant involved would not be present at any further events. The PC was asked to assess the opinion of villagers regarding further events. Dog Fouling has again become a problem Complaints about farm vehicles driving through the village at speed Minutes: 01/04/2012 The minutes of the meeting held on 5th July 2012 were read & accepted. Matters arising:

02/04/2012 Dog Fouling – letter to be sent to all households 03/04/2012 No response from HDC regarding Knayton Transport Cafe – the Clerk to contact HDC about the matter again 04/04/2012 Holm Oak on the Green still requires pruning

05/04/2012 NYCC Highways & Transportation Service regarding road & pavements works. It was noted that Slurry Sealing was taking place at various sites but Knayton not included LG to follow up previous correspondence on the matter 06/04/2012 York & North Yorkshire Waste Partnership – Compost Bins 07/04/2012 HDC – Area Forum Meetings Notice – 16th October The Old Courthouse, Thirsk 08/04/2012 Sanctuary Housing regarding 3 Leake Garth which has been vacated 09/04/2012 Emergency Planning Training – County Hall – 3rd October
