Remember someone special this Christmas Christmas is traditionally a time for sharing and thinking of those close to us. Our remembrance events provide opportunity to remember loved ones and absent friends by dedicating a light on our trees of remembrance

Our remembrance services in Orpington and Sydenham Orpington Sunday 29 November at 4pm in the grounds of St Christopher’s , Caritas House Sydenham Sunday 6 December at 4pm in the grounds of St Christopher’s Hospice in Sydenham We invite you to attend Remembering with St Christopher’s Remembering people who have died is a natural response to an experience of bereavement. Memories can make us smile or leave us with sadness. All these memories are important. Every year, people gather with us before Christmas to recall those who have died under our care as well as others who may never have been known to St Christopher’s. The short service, which will lead to the lighting of the remembrance lights on the tree, will be inclusive for everyone. We know some will come with a belief and want to have that recognised; others will simply want the opportunity to remember in silence. We invite you to make a donation to dedicate a light on one of the trees, using the form on the right or online at www.stchristophers.org.uk/remembrance As a thank you, we will send you a personalised remembrance card for each dedication for you to keep or to share with family and friends. We have created a special page at the link above so you may view your dedication name(s) online even if you are unable to attend. You might also like to use the attached remembrance tags for your special thoughts and messages, which you may hang on the dedicated trees at the service or on your own tree at home. The trees will remain lit until Tuesday 5 January. About St Christopher’s All our services to patients, their family members and carers during a person’s illness, and to bereaved family members and friends after a death, are offered free to all. Events such as this offer an opportunity to support the work of St Christopher’s as well as remembering those who have been important to you who have died. It costs £19m each year to offer our services and develop innovative new approaches to care, such as our Personal Care Service, the Care Homes Project and Bromley Care Coordination. This means we must fundraise approximately £13m each year. Thank you for your support.
