Bar Or” ~ III ~ תקציר למשבר הדיור בישראל השלכות מרחיקות לכת הן על המרחב העירוני והן על המרחב הכפרי אשר עובר תהליכי עיור מואצים בעשורים האחרונים. ישובים כפריים כגון קיבוצים ומושבים אשר התבססו בעבר בעיקר על חקלאות, מאבדים מאופיים הכפרי ומייחודם המקורי ומקבלים צביון עירוני יותר. נופי המרחב הכפרי הישראלי נעלמים ומפנים מקום לשכונות הרחבה פרבריות סמי- עירוניות, בעוד זהותה ודמותה הייחודית של ישראל הכפרית משתנה ללא היכר. תופעת העיור המואץ משפיעה לא רק על נופים כפריים, אלא במידה רבה גם על מרחבים עירוניים המפתחים שכונות פרבריות עם בתים צמודי קרקע על מנת להתחרות בכוח המשיכה של ישובים כפריים ולמשוך משפחות צעירות חזקות. כתוצאה מכך, סובלים המרחבים העירוניים, הסמי עירוניים והכפריים מאובדן המבנה והזהות המקוריים שלהם והשוני ביניהם הולך ומיטשטש. על אף שהנושא מעלה לא מעט סוגיות תכנוניות חשובות ונחקר רבות בעולם, מעט מאד מחקר נעשה בנושא בישראל. מחקר מקומי אשר בוחן את תהליכי העיור של המרחב הכפרי דרך ההיסטוריה והתרבות המקומית ולוקח בחשבון את התנאים המקומיים המשתנים, מאפשר התבוננות ואבחנה מדויקים יותר על ההשלכות מרחיקות הלכת. על מנת להתגבר על הבסיס המחקרי הדל בנושא, המחקר הנוכחי החל בבניית בסיס נתונים רחב של 84 ישובים כפריים (קיבוצים, מושבים וישובים קהילתיים( ומצייר תמונה כללית על תהליכי העיור של המרחב הכפרי ומאפייניה. -

Shalom le kulam, hallo alle zusammen, seit mehr als drei Monaten lebe ich nun in Israel und es wird Zeit, Ihnen und euch von meinen Erfahrungen hier zu berichten. Die Einsatzstelle: ALEH Negev – Nahalat Eran Das Dorf ALEH Negev ist eine Einrichtung für Menschen mit schweren und komplexen Beeinträchtigungen im Norden der israelischen Negevwüste. Neben Wohneinheiten für insgesamt 140 Residents befinden sich auf dem Gelände ein Krankenhausflügel für die, die eine medizinische Rundumbetreuung benötigen, ein integrativer Kindergarten, ein Hydrotherapiepool, eine Schule für die wenigen Kinder von ALEH Negev und viele auswärtige Schüler*innen, ein Streichelzoo und ein Reitzentrum sowie die Gebäude der Ta'asuka, also des Arbeitsplatzes der Bewohner*innen. Hinzu kommen Verwaltungsgebäude und die Räume für ambulante Therapien. Die meisten dieser Gebäude gruppieren sich um eine große Garten- oder Parkanlage. Die Residents erhalten in ALEH Negev die intensive Betreuung, die sie benötigen. Sie werden in ihrem Tagesablauf von Caregivern, israelischen und ausländischen Freiwilligen sowie Nurses und Therapeut*innen begleitet. Meine Arbeit Wie die meisten Freiwilligen bin ich in einem der Wohnhäuser eingesetzt. Davon gibt es fünf, zwei Männer- und zwei Frauenhäuser sowie ein gemischtes Haus, in dem auch ein paar Kinder leben. „Mein“ Haus, Beit Shachar, ist ein Männerhaus, dort leben dreiundzwanzig Männer im Alter von etwa zwanzig bis sechzig Jahren. Sie alle sind sowohl körperliche als auch geistige eingeschränkt, weswegen sie auf intensive Pflege und Betreuung angewiesen sind. Die Häuser sind in zwei Hälften unterteilt, in der jeweils zwei Gruppen von bis zu sechs Personen leben. Je zwei Residents teilen sich ein Schlafzimmer und zwei Schlafzimmer ein Badezimmer. -

An Investigation into How Engagement with the Context and Processes of Collaborative Devising Affects the Praxis of the Playwright: A Practice-as-Research PhD Volume 2 223 Practice-As-Research: The 9.21 to Shrub Hill (Devised Production) Playground (Non-Devised Production) and Accompanying Exegesis 224 Chapter Five Exegesis of the Processes of Creating a Devised Script (The 9.21 to Shrub Hill) and Non-Devised Script (Playground) Introduction The preceding chapters have created a framework for the analysis of my own experiences as a writer-deviser. Without this framework, it would be difficult to situate my practice within a theoretical context, since a similar academic discourse, placing the writer-deviser at the heart of the study, does not exist. As highlighted in the Introduction, the central query of this dissertation is how engagement with devising affects a playwright. This is a query with important ramifications for pedagogical practice and the discourses of devising and playwriting in general, but also represents a significant investigation in the development of my own artistic practice. As previously discussed, my methodological approach encompasses both research-led practice, and practice-led research.1 The preceding chapters have informed the development of the two scripts contained within this volume, and the development of the two scripts directed the focus of my research. As with most PaR investigations, the findings resulting from the practice share equal weighting (if not, in the case of some researchers, more) with those discoveries made from traditional, text-based research methodologies. Whilst I explore the ramifications of devising practice on my writing, I am also placing it within the context of the previous chapters’ revelations, finding resonances with the work of other writer-devisers, and testing out the theories presented of both devising and writing in my own work. -
