SCOTRAIL Franchise Service Level Commitment April 2015 This is the Service Level Committment in the Agreed Form marked “SLC” as referred to in the Definitions Agreement entered into between The Scottish Ministers and Abellio ScotRail Limited. ………..……………………………… ………..……………………………… 6475961-56475961-6 SERVICE LEVEL COMMITMENT Introduction This Service Level Commitment issued by the Authority for the purposes of Schedule 1.1 (Service Development) of the Franchise Agreement between the Scottish Ministers (“the Authority”) and Abellio ScotRail Limited (“the Franchisee”) dated 2014 (“the Franchise Agreement”) Part 1 – Interpretation and Definitions 1 Interpretation 1.1 References in this Service Level Commitment are to references in the Franchise Agreement unless expressly stated otherwise. 1.2 This Service Level Commitment shall unless expressly stated otherwise, be interpreted in accordance with the Definitions Agreement which is referred to in the Franchise Agreement. 1.3 The Franchisee shall have regard to and seek to deliver the Authority’s policy objectives as referred to in clause 4.4 of the Franchise Agreement in the interpretation and compliance with this Service Level Commitment. 2 Services 2.1 The following words and expressions have the following meanings in this Service Level Commitment: Service means any Passenger Service specified in this Service Level Commitment; Early Service means the Service which arrives at its destination at or before the time specified in each Route; Late Service means the Service which departs from the specified departure point at or after the time specified in each Route; Permitted Interval has the meaning given in paragraph 2.7 of this Service Level Commitment; Annex means the annexation in two parts to this Service Level Commitment, and the Annex forms part of this Service Level Commitment 2.2 Except where expressly stated to the contrary, where an interval or frequency is specified for a Service, such specification shall apply at the departure point for the relevant Service. -

RCTS Log of 60001 The Railway Observer January to December 2002 Following the naming of 60001 at Toton on 23rd February 2001, Bob Wallen, Dave Hinde and Andrew Lait have attempted to maintain as complete as possible a record of the workings of the locomotive. Acknowledgements are due to those RCTS members, and others, who have contributed the information that has enabled the following to be put together on behalf of the Society. Your reports of sightings of 60001 will contribute to the completeness of this log, please support us by sending them to us. Monthly summaries are now included in this log. The most recent summaries are published in The Railway Observer every few months. January 2002 Summary. January started with remedial work to a brake fault being carried out at Cardiff Canton. 60001 was then used for MGR work with at least one oil train working before it escaped on a Wakefield-bound scrap empties in the middle of January. It was returned on the loaded steel train via Washwood Heath and some trip workings and then again took up MGR work. Train Services Within Langside Ward - Verbal Report Noted – Request to Abellio Scotrail Limited
Train services within Langside Ward - Verbal report noted – Request to Abellio Scotrail Limited. 3 There was heard a verbal report by Paul MacKay and Scott Prentice, Abellio Scotrail Limited regarding the train services within Langside Ward, advising that (1) the coaches on the trains would be increased to 6 coaches by May 2019 on the Neilston service and by December 2019 on the Newton service; (2) Scotrail shared timetables with bus services within the ward allowing both parties to work together to provide a multiple choice of transport for the public; and (3) although punctuality of trains remained a concern there was a working plan in progress to improve this for the future. After consideration, the Partnership (a) thanked Paul MacKay and Scott Prentice for the report; and (b) requested Abellio Scotrail Limited to investigate the following matters:- (i) what Glasgow City Council could do to tackle some of the issues raised such as contact Strathclyde Passenger Transport to determine if it could Lobby Transport Scotland to address changing demand due to demographical changes; (ii) the replacement of current stock and increases in capacityon the Newton and Neilston service and Cathcart Circle service along with the timescales for these; (iii) how Hampden events could be managed if they run over such as extra time at football matches and why has the frequency of the Kingspark service had not increased; (iv) creating more capacity at Central Station; and (v) information on the National Transport Strategy, which will be reviewed in 2019; and (c) requested representatives from Abellio Scotrail Limited return to the Area Partnership meeting on 20th November 2018 to provide an update following consultation currently being done on Network Rail’s new 5 year funding plan. -
