SCOTRAIL Franchise Service Level Commitment April 2015 This is the Service Level Committment in the Agreed Form marked “SLC” as referred to in the Definitions Agreement entered into between The Scottish Ministers and Abellio ScotRail Limited. ………..……………………………… ………..……………………………… 6475961-56475961-6 SERVICE LEVEL COMMITMENT Introduction This Service Level Commitment issued by the Authority for the purposes of Schedule 1.1 (Service Development) of the Franchise Agreement between the Scottish Ministers (“the Authority”) and Abellio ScotRail Limited (“the Franchisee”) dated 2014 (“the Franchise Agreement”) Part 1 – Interpretation and Definitions 1 Interpretation 1.1 References in this Service Level Commitment are to references in the Franchise Agreement unless expressly stated otherwise. 1.2 This Service Level Commitment shall unless expressly stated otherwise, be interpreted in accordance with the Definitions Agreement which is referred to in the Franchise Agreement. 1.3 The Franchisee shall have regard to and seek to deliver the Authority’s policy objectives as referred to in clause 4.4 of the Franchise Agreement in the interpretation and compliance with this Service Level Commitment. 2 Services 2.1 The following words and expressions have the following meanings in this Service Level Commitment: Service means any Passenger Service specified in this Service Level Commitment; Early Service means the Service which arrives at its destination at or before the time specified in each Route; Late Service means the Service which departs from the specified departure point at or after the time specified in each Route; Permitted Interval has the meaning given in paragraph 2.7 of this Service Level Commitment; Annex means the annexation in two parts to this Service Level Commitment, and the Annex forms part of this Service Level Commitment 2.2 Except where expressly stated to the contrary, where an interval or frequency is specified for a Service, such specification shall apply at the departure point for the relevant Service. -

Dumbarton House Annual Report Fiscal Year 2013 September 2012 – August 2013 Headquarters & Museum ~ The National Society of The Colonial Dames of America Letter from the Executive Director and chairman Dear Friends, Our temporary exhibition this past year—Metamo’rphosis I—provides a fitting theme for our 2013 fiscal year activities here at Dumbarton House, with exciting transformations afoot at your NSCDA national headquarters and museum. In the museum, new collections acquisitions have allowed us to enrich our interpretation of life in our national capital’s earliest days, while the Metamo’rphosis I exhibition encouraged contemporary artists to find inspiration for their modern creations in our historic collection. In the museum interiors, the Dining Room received a stunning facelift, returning it to its authentic Federal period aesthetic. Outside, a transformation of another sort commenced with extensive upgrades to irrigation and garden lighting systems performed alongside emergency repairs of the air conditioning compressor and multiple sink holes. Inside, summer renovations carved out dedicated collections storage space from a former custodial supply closet and office space, and created a headquarters entrance, reception, meeting, and office space in the building’s west wing. Meanwhile, a team of skilled engineers, conservators, preservation architects, and sustainability consultants conducted a year-long study of the site’s HVAC system, funded through a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. The NSCDA 2012 Biennial kick-started this year of metamorphoses as members elected new national leadership (including Anna Duff as new NSCDA Vice President-Headquarters, Dumbarton House) and unveiled an engaging new brand for the Society. Our numerous museum programs, serving just under 20,000 this past year, and these numerous preservation efforts would not be possible without the generous support of friends like you from across the country. -

RAIL STAFF SURVEY: RESPONDENT DEMOGRAPHICS 1.1. 20,000 surveys were distributed of which over 2,000 surveys have been returned representing a return of 10.7%. 1.2. In total 2,142 rail staff took part in the survey: 1,148 respondents train crew and 994 station staff respondents. 1.3. The majority of respondents were male, and described their ethnicity as ‘White’ for both datasets. 1.4. Within BME respondents the three largest groups were African (1%), Pakistani (1%) and Indian (1%) for train crew; and Indian (2%), African (2%) and Caribbean (2%) for station staff. There was a good spread of respondents from different job roles (see Tables 2 and 3). Conductors made up the largest percentage of train crew respondents (66%) followed by Drivers/Shunters (22%). Sales point/Ticket sales staff made up the largest percentage of station staff respondents (35%) followed by Platform staff (24%) and Customer service (23%). 1.6.
