General Auction Rules and Procedures CheckCheck----InInInIn All attendees need to check-in prior to bidding on any auction items or taking a seat in the dining room. Upon check-in, you will be given your pre-assigned table number and bidder number. You will need this number for the remainder of the evening for bidding on silent and live auction items. You will also receive a meal ticket to indicate to your food server which entrée you have pre- selected. Silent Auction Each silent auction item will have a bid sheet with a minimum start bid indicated at the top of the bid sheet. There will also be a minimum bid increment listed on the bid sheet, which indicates the necessary bid increase for each successive bid. You may bid higher than the minimum bid increment listed. You bid on an item by writing your name and assigned bid number on the bid sheet with the dollar amount you wish to bid. Each bid is to be written on the next successive blank line on the bid sheet beginning with the uppermost line. Once you have placed your bid, please step back to allow others the opportunity to bid. Silent auction items will begin to close at 6:30PM according to the schedule printed in the program. All bidders will be alerted in advance of each table closing. All bidding must stop at the time of announced closing. The highest bid at the closing time constitutes the winning bid. In the event of a dispute, the auction chairs will have the sole and final authority to determine the winning bidder. **Class Project Live “BLITZ” Auction** This year the Kindergarten through 4 th grade class projects will be auctioned off in a live “BLITZ” auction that will take plat at 6:00.
