I like this because although it is primarily about the seasonal activities and festivals for each month, there are also some Japanese Traditions: Rice Cakes mundane seasonal aspects of daily life included, such as using reed shades to escape the summer heat, or adding layers to one's futon as the temperature drops in late fall. In this book Setsu explained the Japanese traditions trough his own experience as a child grown up in Japan countryside.
