Infant Baptism Baptism Seminar 3rd Thursday of each month from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Telephone the office to pre- register.

Holy Matrimony Louisiana Dioceses require six months of formal preparation with the pastor and with a mentor couple of MQOP. Telephone the parish office to begin the process.

We, the Parish of Mary, Queen of Peace and the community of South Bossier City, Louisiana are united through God and Fellowship. We are called through our Baptism to enlighten and educate ourselves, as well as our neighbors, to the power of the Holy Spirit, and we are called by that Spirit to live our lives in communion with one another and to care for each other as we are all descendants of Christ. In recuperation the only books he had were Thursday 7:30 a.m. The Golden Legend , a collection of lives of saints, and Life of Christ . These books, and (7/31) contemplation, changed him. On recovery he vowed chastity, hung his sword before Friday 7:30 a.m. the altar of the Virgin of Montserrat, and donned pilgrim’s robes. (8/01) Ignatius was a mystic centering his life on the foundations of Christianity—the Sanctuary Lamp Trinity, Christ, the Eucharist —best expressed in the Jesuit motto, ad majorem Dei Ad honorem * gloriam . All was guided by love of the Church and obedience to the Holy Father. He was an implacable foe of Protestantism. Yet the seeds of ecumenism may be theJesuitinfluenceinourdiocese. found in his words: “Great care must be taken to show forth orthodox truth in such Prayer Requests a way that if any heretics happen to be present they may have an example of charity Remember in prayer those who are sick, that they may receive the and Christian moderation.
