Run by volunteers, money donated goes directly to the forefront of research and wellbeing projects. www.blueskyethinking.org.uk DCS Showjumping A5 Programme 2019_Layout 1 06/06/2019 11:13 Page 3 DEAN CLOSE SCHOOL Equestrian Club welcomes you to the Dean Close Show Jumping Competition I would like to extend a very warm welcome to all competitors, their families, friends and visitors to the Dean Close Show Jumping competition held at Rectory Farm, Duntisbourne Abbots. It is a privilege to be able to give so many youngsters the opportunity to compete for their schools in a sport they enjoy. The Equestrian Department at Dean Close is passionate about all aspects of riding. From as young as Year 4, Pony Lessons and Stable Management lessons are offered in the Prep School and one hour riding lessons or Prestige training lessons are available to Senior School pupils. Livery packages are available at our partnerships yard, Highnam Court Equine with individual packages tailored for boarding and international students. Team training for both Senior and Prep riders takes place in the spectacular grounds of Highnam Court Equine. Those with their own horses and ponies are able to compete in teams or as individuals in Dressage, Cross Country, Eventing and Show Jumping competitions. Polo ponies can either be hired or bring your own ponies for training each week and for the Novice, Intermediate or Senior Polo Tournaments. Talented riders can apply to be considered for our Equestrian Scholarship programme as part of the entry programme to Dean Close at 11+, 13+ and 16+.
