D’aquesta manera, s’aportaren solucions uniformes a la nomenclatura viària, designant amb claredat les carreteres generals i definint titularitats. Tanmateix, es creà la xarxa bàsica de vials i es definí la seva gestió als efectes d’ordenar el trànsit rodat des d’un punt de vista general, millorant la circulació rodada entre les parròquies i l’entrada i sortida de vehicles del Principat, especialment en aquells moments de màxima afluència. Finalment, la Llei introduí en annex el Directori de carreteres generals i el llistat de vials inclosos dins de la xarxa bàsica de vials. L’actual Llei pretén actualitzar el text legal de l’any 2005 i millorar-lo en diversos aspectes. Though some, not all, of these objections were ostensibly addressed in their responses, they were not addressed fully nor adequately. I raised concerns regarding Meadows assumptions on growth in demand for Alpine skiing. The last ten years MHM stated continued growth trends, but actually the most recent previous two years that has not been the trend. The true growth is in Nordic skiing. The majority of the Nordic community is against the creation of the Twilight lot without a comprehensive analysis of potential future use of this terrain, and nearby Nordic trails and connecting trails. This type of analysis has not been done, and would be precluded by proceeding with the construction of the Twilight lot before all future use options have been considered. Second, I asked that MHM be required by the FS to place the funds, $500,000, for a Nordic center in a designated account for a future Nordic center building, and a restrictive timeline for construction. If the parking lot is to be built, the Nordic community should have some prior input on the Nordic facility to be built prior to the lots final approval. The response that was posted simply stated that "a" facility would be built within three years.

Consequently, investors and consumers have lost confidence at global level. The actual GDP of advanced economies has therefore dropped by 7.50% in the last quarter of 2008. Forecasts for 2009 show a 1.30% reduction in the GDP and a gradual recovery for 2010, with growth of 1.90%. The US economy has possibly been that which has most suffered the consequences of the growing financial tension and the ongoing slow down of the construction sector. Nevertheless, Western Europe and the advanced economies of Asia have also been seriously jeopardised by the collapse of the worldwide economy, the worsening of their financial problems and, in certain cases, changes in the real estate sector. The economies of emerging countries have also experienced serious problems, reporting a 4% de- cline during the last quarter of 2008. This situation has particularly affected East Asian countries which mainly depend on exports of manufacturers and those of emerging countries of Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), growth of which is closely related to capital inflows. The rapid slowdown in worldwide activity has coincided with depleted inflationary pressure.
