Mit der Auffrischung unseres Erscheinungsbilds haben wir ein neues Kapitel in der Geschichte der Lufthansa Group aufgeschlagen. Das moderne Design verkörpert die Verbindung von Tradition und Innovation und unterstreicht unseren Anspruch, in unserer Branche Maßstäbe zu setzen. Unsere Finanzergebnisse im Jahr 2018 haben diesen Anspruch erfüllt: Die Lufthansa Group hat als eines der wenigen Unternehmen in der Branche die am Jahresanfang gesteckten Ziele erreicht. Trotz zahlreicher Heraus- forderungen lag das Ergebnis beinahe auf Vorjahresniveau. Integrationskosten bei Eurowings im Zusammenhang mit der Übernahme wesentlicher Teile von Air Berlin, Unregelmäßigkeiten im Flugbetrieb und deutlich höhere Treibstoffkosten summierten sich zu einer massiven finanziellen Belastung. Durch profitables Wachstum und Effizienzverbesserungen konnten wir diese Belastung aber weitestgehend kompensieren. In diesem schwierigen Umfeld haben sich vor allem die Network Airlines erfolgreich entwickelt.
