Welcome to Saint Barnabas Church Founded in 1869, Saint Barnabas is a Roman Catholic parish of the Ordinariate of the Chair of . The Ordinariate was established in 2012 by Benedict XVI in order to preserve elements of the Anglican tradition within the . The parish entered the Catholic Church in 2013. Mass is celebrated using Divine Worship, the Vatican- promulgated Missal also known as the Ordinariate or Anglican Use liturgy. All Catholics may fulfill their Mass obligation on Sundays and holydays at Saint Barnabas. Catholics in full communion with the Holy See of Rome may receive Holy Communion at our Masses. Confessions are heard beginning 25 minutes before Mass at the rear of the church.  KALENDAR 

 SAINT BARNABAS ACADEMY VIRTUAL GALA THIS WEEKEND In lieu of its traditional fundraising gala dinner, Saint Barnabas Academy will host a virtual gala April 24 to 26. It will include a silent auction as well as a livestream classical literature “read-a-thon”. The final live segment will air this evening (Sunday) from 5:30 pm (starting with Evensong) to 10:00 pm.  EASTER WATER Blessed Easter water is available for the use of the faithful. It will also be saved to bless homes (as is customary during the Easter season) once circumstances permit.

 PERPETUAL ADORATION IN THE PARKING LOT The Most Blessed Sacrament has now been exposed for perpetual adoration in the sacristy window. The faithful may now pray before Our Eucharistic Lord from the comfort of their vehicles at any time of the day or night.

 DRIVE-IN CONFESSIONS ON SATURDAYS Confessions will once again be heard in the parking lot on Saturday afternoon from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. pm.

 SAINT BARNABAS ON YOUTUBE High Mass will be streamed at 10:30 am on Sunday morning on the parish’s YouTube channel, found here. Sunday Evensong is also now live streamed at 5:30 pm. Other programming will include novena prayers to Our Lady of the , Bible study on the First Epistle of Saint John led by Tom Hurley, a selection of readings by Patrick Loveless, and a lecture on English church music of the Tudor period by Dr. Page.

 SACRAMENTAL AND PASTORAL CARE Please contact the parish office for individual appointments for confession, anointing of the sick, and reception of Holy Communion. Parishioners are also encouraged to contact the office for any other needs, such as obtaining groceries or other necessities.

 ELECTRONIC GIVING Despite the suspension of public Mass and other activities, it remains vitally important that we continue to give for the support of the parish.
