Kako bi opisali njegovo poslovno pot? Petdesetletna tradicija Fer- speda je v logistični dejavnosti prava redkost. Sodimo med petnajst najmočnejših logistič- nih podjetij v Sloveniji. V pod- jetju se je zbiralo znanje in vsak zaposleni je k temu ogromno prispeval, zato bi rad že na za- četku poudaril, da so ključni, ki so zaslužni za uspeh podjetja, njegovi zaposleni. Največja po- zornost naj bo zato namenjena njim. V polstoletni zgodovini podjetja pa je bilo tudi obdo- bje, na katerega ne moremo biti ponosni. To je bilo v času, ko so poskušali podjetje privatizirati, kar je med drugim povzročilo izgubo. Za sanacijo pa se mo- ramo zahvaliti poslovodstvu SŽ, ki je nato podjetje vzelo pod okrilje, ga dokapitaliziralo, da se je lahko leta 2013 začela tudi finančna sanacija.     PRESS RELEASE A contract worth over €335 million Alstom to supply 12 Avelia Euroduplex trains to SNCF for the TGV Atlantique lines 31 July 2019 – Alstom will supply 12 Avelia Euroduplex trains to SNCF Mobilités for the sum of €335 million. This order is in addition to the one for 55 trains currently being delivered. The 12 trains will enter service in 2021 and 2022. They will replace older trains, some of which are over 30 years old. A first order for 40 trains had been signed with SNCF in September 20131, and 15 additional options were exercised in 2017. To date, 41 trains have been delivered, with the first ones entering commercial service on 11 December 2016 between Paris and Bordeaux. “I am very happy that SNCF has renewed its trust in us. The feedback from passengers who travel regularly on these very high speed trains is very positive. This order is excellent news for the sites that produce these trains and will, in particular, ensure the workload of La Rochelle and Belfort in 2020 and 2021, before the delivery of the new generation trains ordered in 2018. The production of these Avelia Euroduplex trains will represent employment for 400 people in La Rochelle and 120 people in Belfort,” said Jean-Baptiste Eyméoud, Senior Vice President France at Alstom. The Avelia Euroduplex trains have higher capacity, with 556 seats compared to 509 for previous generations. Alstom has placed the passenger at the heart of the development of this material by proposing a new concept for more comfortable, more ergonomic seats with a high level of equipment (electrical sockets, USB sockets, reading lamp, etc.).

    Press Release 2 April 2012 SNCF takes up contract option for 40 additional Euroduplex very high speed train sets Patrick Kron, Chairman and CEO of Alstom, has declared his great satisfaction at the SNCF’s signing of the contract option for 40 additional double-deck Euroduplex very high speed trains on Friday 30 March. Taking into account a possible cancellation of 10 trains, Alstom booked an order corresponding to 30 train sets in the last quarter of the 2011/12 fiscal year, for a value of around €900 million. This new order is included in the framework of the contract placed with Alstom by SNCF on 27 June 2007. The 40 trains are in addition to the firm tranche of 55 Euroduplex train sets currently under construction, the first of which entered commercial service on 11 December 2011 on the new Rhine-Rhône high speed line and the last units being delivered mid-2015. The additional train sets will be delivered from 2015. Their manufacture will contribute to the workload of Alstom Transport’s La Rochelle site which builds the passenger cars as well as the workload of other sites in France: Belfort (locomotives), Reichshoffen (end cars), Le Creusot (bogies), Ornans (traction systems), Le Petit Quevilly (locomotive transformers), Tarbes (electrical units and traction equipment) and Villeurbanne (electronic control systems). Charleroi (Belgium) for auxiliary inverters and Montreal (Canada) for passenger information systems are also part of the manufacturing scheme. A total of 1,500 people on these sites work each day on high speed rail transport projects at Alstom. The main French suppliers for this project are Faiveley Transport, Logitrade, COMECA, CEIT, TFCM and Association Bretagne Atelier.
