CPAC to broadcast Senate chamber proceedings on TV and online

OTTAWA, March 14, 2019 – The Cable Public Affairs Channel (CPAC) is pleased to announce that starting next week, it will begin carrying gavel-to-gavel broadcasts of Senate Chamber proceedings on CPAC TV and on www.cpac.ca.

Senate proceedings will be available live on CPAC’s website at www.cpac.ca and on a tape-delayed basis on CPAC TV the next business day. CPAC will also make the Senate’s Question Period available on its website on-demand and continue to offer live and on-demand access to Senate Committees.

The announcement follows the Senate’s decision to televise proceedings for the first time in its history.
