At present, the institute is a constituent of Symbiosis International University (SIU). Symbiosis International University is National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) accredited and has been assigned an “A” grade. Curriculum The institute regularly reviews the curriculum to ensure enough options for students to aid them in their course-selection process. There have been 12 courses added in the past 2 years while 5 have been withdrawn depending on student choices and course relevance. SIIB has collaborated with the Berlin School of Economics and Law (BSEL), Germany, and the Sheffield Hallam University (SHU), the United Kingdom, for student exchange programmes. Industry Interaction SIIB conducted 15 to 20 guest lectures in 2012, including interactions with Rajiv Bajaj (managing director, Bajaj Auto Ltd) , Mr. B M Vyas (former managing director at Gujrat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd *AMUL+), and the Swiss ambassador to India – Dr. Linus Von Castelmur. The institute conducted nearly 18 Management Development Programmes in 2010-11 under the banner of Symbiosis Centre for Corporate Education . In the past, programmes have been conducted for the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), Rallis India Ltd, and the Bombay Goods Transport Association. Students have been actively engaged with the industry through live projects. Students have worked on projects with Darashaw and Company (), Pepsico, and the National Horticulture Board (Government of India), wherein they have conducted studies on specific project requirements in various areas. Infrastructure The institute is spread over 41,000 square feet and shares Symbiosis Infotech Campus with two other Symbiosis institutes. The campus has 14 classrooms, with a seminar hall and conference rooms spread over 5200 square feet and 360 square feet, respectively. SIIB has an air-conditioned auditorium, which is capable of accommodating up to 350 people. It is generally the preferred venue for conducting guest lectures, workshops, seminars, inter-college events, and other programmes. The campus has a basket ball court, table tennis, and a swimming pool facility along with access to health and fitness centres managed by Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS). The campus has a dedicated Wi-Fi connected information technology (IT) resource center, a server room, an ICICI learning facility room with over 50 computers. The Academic Block and the hostels are fully equipped with round-the-clock Wi-Fi connectivity. The library is stocked with 72 national journals, 5 international journals, 75 periodicals and more than 8400 titles with a seating capacity for 60 to 70 students.
