The lease agreement may be terminated by either party at three months’ notice. The owner may terminate the agreement on the grounds of non-com- pliance with the conditions mentioned above. Before termination, the owner must, however, have presented the advertiser with a warning in writing, asking to have the issue taken care of. For further information concerning vacant advertising spaces or other questions regarding airport advertising, please contact the local airport manager (see p. 10) or Business Development Manager Svend Christiansen at [email protected]. 11 Space Rental Space rent is the price charged for short or long-term storage of goods, e.g. on prem- ises where there can be several other tenants.The rent is charged per cubic metre (m3) of pallets or palletised boxes. All three locations have limited beds, and we recommend that you contact the airport beforehand to make sure that there is room available. Below is a description of the three locations and various charges. Qaarsut Airport (BGUQ) Contact: Airport Manager Ib Larsen, [email protected] Make your reservation at least two days before arrival. Facilities: The hostel has five single rooms with private bathrooms, and three communal bedrooms with a total of 17 beds and communal showers/toilets. The cafeteria seats 20 people. Other options in Qaarsut: A 3-bedroom, furnished apartment is available for rent for 1,240 DKK per 24 hours (for longterm lease, a special price can be arranged) Nerlerit Inaat (Constable Point) (BGCO) Contact: Airport Manager: Henrik Søltoft, [email protected] Administration: [email protected] Reservation at least 24 hours prior to arrival is required. For weekend stays, reservations are due by Thursday. Facilities: The hostel has a total of 23 beds (30 during the summer months) in rooms with two or three bunk beds per room. Guests have access to a communal kitchen and living room as well as communal showers/toilets (composting toilets). Catering in Nerlerit Inaat: All meals are available at the airport cafeteria. Please note that guests must observe the scheduled mealtimes. In General Please contact the relevant airport(s) (cf. page 5) to ensure that the services you wish to purchase are available. 2. Provisions for Ramp and Passenger Handling Subsection 1. Ramp handling is compulsory for all aircraft at Mittarfeqarfiit's airports if the aircraft is not covered by an SGHA or GHA, with the exceptions described in subsections 2 and 6. Ramp handling shall be paid for in accordance to pkt. 3, in connection with landing and take-off at an airport. Subsection 2. Airlines with buildings/hangars directly adjacent to the apron/service areas may enter into an agreement with the relevant airfield for the operation of its own and chartered aircraft that provide flights in cooperation with the relevant airline. Subsection 3. An agreement in accordance with subsection 2 may include special aircraft types, special flights, or all of the airline’s aircraft. Subsection 4. Passenger handling is only offered upon departure, and is compulsory for all aircraft with passenger not covered by an SGHA or GHA. Subsection 4b. The following aircraft are exempt from passenger handling: Ambulance, Military, Commercial and GA Aircraft which are under 5.7 tonnes and/or configured for less than 10 passengers. Subsection 5. When issuing an annual permit pursuant to Article 9 of the Fees and Charges, the agreement regarding self-handling applies to the aircraft covered by the annual permit, even if the conditions don´t meet the subsection 2.
