Invitation to the Third Conference of China Outbound Forum By Sanya People’s Government Center for China and Globalization (CCG) China Association for International Economic Cooperation (CAFIEC) Smadja& Smadja Strategy Advisory December 2-3, 2016, MGM Hotel, Sanya, Hainan, China In 2014, Center for China and Globalization (CCG), China Association for International Economic Cooperation (CAFIEC), Smadja& Smadja Strategic Consulting and Sanya People’s Government jointly initiated the largest and most influential outbound forum in China. The China Outbound Forum has already established its reputation as the premier event discussing the challenges and opportunities Chinese enterprises face during their global expansion. The Forum brings together 400 participants around– government officials, journalists, as well as Chinese senior executives and their interlocutors from foreign companies. In addition, this event also invites internationally well-known scholars and experts to share their opinions. On the success of the first two conferences, the third conference will focus on the new trends and developments which have shaped Chinese companies’ globalization progress –"China’s overseas drive: Accelerating momentum, shifting focus". Speakers invited to the event include Chinese government officials who are heavily involved in international trade and economic cooperation, well-known Chinese and international business leaders, as well as global scholars from the related fields. Based on this theme, the conference will conduct discussions on these following topics: 1. The emerging trends in globalization and world economy 2. The on-going expansion and diversification of China’s outward foreign direct investments (OFDI) 3.
