For SLM’s inaugural Private School Handbook, we compiled a comprehensive list of the the region’s schools, providing vital stats to consider when making decisions for your family. In creating these charts, we strove to be as inclusive as possible, inviting grade schools and high schools in St. Louis; Jefferson, St. Charles, and St. Louis counties; and Madison, private St. Clair, and Monroe counties in Illinois to respond to an informational survey. Excluded schools either did not respond to multiple email and phone invitations or preferred not school to participate. All information is self-reported. The information in these charts should be regarded as a starting point only. If your school is in the St. Louis region and was not included in the charts, charts please email [email protected].

THE FINE PRINT “N/A” means “not applicable”; “DND” means “did not disclose”; “int’l” is an abbreviation for “international.” Private Grade Schools: 1. This chart includes private schools that had at least 45 students enrolled in preschool through grade 8. 2. Some schools also have high schools, but for the purposes of this chart, we asked that administrators only include information that pertains up to grade 8. 3. Some schools list only grades 6 through 8. In most cases, these are schools that incorporate middle school grades into their high schools. We included their middle school students on this chart and their high school students on the next chart. Parish Grade Schools: 1. Because of space constraints, SLM was unable to include parish elementary schools in the Archdiocese of St. Louis or Metro East. Private High Schools: 1. These charts include schools that have more than 40 students enrolled in grades 9 through 12 this year. 2. Some schools in these charts also include middle and elementary school grades. * = The inaugural class of seniors at Father McGivney Catholic High School will graduate next year, so the percentage of students continuing to postsecondary education was unavailable. 60 PRIVATE SCHOOL HANDBOOK
