Day 1 Koblenz Individual arrival to Koblenz A town where the Rhine and Moselle converge to one of Germany's oldest and most beau ful towns. French joie de vivre and German tradi on have produced a cultural fusion in Koblenz, with cozy wine taverns, a genuinely welcoming atmosphere and great food – from gourmet cuisine to hearty fare. Lots to do and see in Koblenz. It is a great loca on to start your bike and boat adventure, or con nue your trip from Saarburg.
Day 2 Koblenz - Moselkern - Cochem 27 km The boat brings you to Alken where you start your first bike tour to Moselkern. Considered to be one of the most roman c part of the Moselle Valley, where the river curves, lies the old town of Cochem. Stroll through the old town, or spend a bit of me exploring the im- pressive castle.
Day 3 Cochem - Zell on the Mosel 40 km Today you cycle to Beilstein where you enjoy this beau ful city dur- ing a city tour. Your tour ends in the wine city of Zell, with its endless vineyards hugging the river the whole route. Take the me to enjoy some of the local wines and food.
Day 4 Zell on the Mosel - Bernkastel - Kues 48 km Today you bike to Traben Trarbach, the centre of art-nouveau archi- tecture. A erwards you reach Bernkastel-Kues: the quaint half- mbered houses gathering around the market square are surely the most beau ful in the region. Join in for a winetas ng in at a local vineyard.
Day 5 Bernkastel-Kues - Mehring 45 km In the morning you visit the largest winegrowers´coopera ve along- side the Moselle in Piesport. Then you cycle to Neumagen-Dhron, the oldest wine-grower town of Germany. A er lunch you go on to Piesport today´s des na on.
Day 6 Mehring - Trier/Konz 26 km You pedal along to Trier/Konz where the boat awaits you. Enjoy the city with its well-known roman city gate and impressive buildings - Trier is one of the oldest ci es in Germany. Explore the sights and sounds of Trier, the cathedrals, museums, churches and even Ro- man Baths. This is a wonderful li le university town, with something for everyone.
Day 7 Trier/Konz - Me lach - Saarburg 25 or 60 km You have a choice to cycle from Trier to Saarburg along the banks of the Saar or relax on the boat to Saarburg, also known as "li le Ven- ice". Or you can cycle to Me lach, where you can visit "Villeroy and Boch". Then ride back to Saarburg. It is a great loca on to end your journey, filled with wonderful small cafes, restaurants and bars. Soak in the local atmosphere before ending your trip with us.

What to Expect Getting There What will the weather be like? The weather is nice and cool especially in the mornings and evenings. How fit do I need to be? The fi er the be er, but even a fit beginner will enjoy this trip. The biggest issue may just be ge ng accustomed to si ng on a bike for hours a day, so get used to riding on a bike before coming out.
What are the accommoda ons like? Cabins are all fi ed with 2 beds, a bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. The main common areas include the upper deck with the dining rooms and lounge. All barges have an outdoor deck to enjoy as well.
