very time I see a woman swathed in layers of fabric, I cringe. If only she knew, that by adding volume, the optical result is exactly that. There is only one way to look taller, slimmer and be more confident in clothes and it’s with cunning and knowledge. EFirst you have to fully understand your body. With a broad brush I could say go easy over the less desired and enhance the desired but that’s a simplistic approach. If you are a woman who wasn’t born yesterday, there’s every chance your core area has changed shape over time and you are less inclined to wear sleeveless clothing or belts at your waist. Then there are your legs which are not overly 4 difficult to dress with maxi dresses and clever pant styles afoot. Making clothing enhance you as you are, requires more attention to the fabrics in your clothes and I advise you to include items with stretch. Garments made in jersey knits will be your best friends because they are snug to give you some shape in areas that can suggest a slim woman under there. My point here is that there will be areas like legs and arms that when narrowed down with snugness, allow a little volume over other areas. This cannot be achieved in fabrics without stretch which when snug are too tight so you become the shape of the garment, rather than your true shape. The eye scans the entire look so those areas you have made look slimmer become the building blocks of the look. 5 Let me give you an example. In (1) the skirt is ruched but not hugging as you cannot see the body’s detail, so quite slimming when worn under a looser top. If on the other hand you wear both a fuller skirt and fuller top, the result would be serious plus dressing. Style 4850 (2) Is the perfect example of dressing to cover ARM TALK arms, which is always the upper arm (not entire There’s only one way to arm). It is a dress which flatters thighs because an A-line does that. In this case the dress is look taller, slimmer and loose at the waist so it skims over the entire more confident in clothes body but suggests through the shape of the and it’s with cunning dress that the wearer is also shapely even if she and knowledge. is not. This dress can easily go up to a size 3X. For women who are plus size my advice is to go for dramatic stunning looks like (3). Select flowing clothes and fashion forward Styles clothes that don’t touch the body and embrace bold jewellery. Long 7394 / 7546 kaftans are also perfect for you with fabulous organic . 6 This beautiful goes up to a size 3X and when worn over a black loose layer, the look can only be stunning. (4) Is the perfect solution dress for women with no waist as it is a triangle dress, loose at the waist, covering the upper arm and slightly narrower at the hem. The eye only sees shape. The same illusion is created with garments in (5) which is a over a wide legged-pant – waist and thighs not seen. Same applies if you wear a pencil skirt with the shirt. Wide Japanese-style pants are great flatterers to the fuller figure. If you always cover your arms use sleeveless garments (6) as your clothing underpinnings to avoid a double sleeve. Always have clever Style 7532A shrugs and lightweight to throw over shoulders or slimline Style 5805 jackets at hand. They’ll be your best friends. Even a sheer layer or a PAULA RYAN LAYER. Every vintage wardrobe has black as an anchor and every man or woman own go-to garments in black. 58 mart travelling women travel light. They never take more than they need, favouring the kilos for returning shopping. Besides, it’s a pain to travel with loads of luggage. It does your head in at airports. We have ascertained that on most trips to anywhere, 4 Sa woman needs three bags. One large tote, one across body shoulder option for hands free shopping and one small evening 5 pouch-style bag. If you travel with leather then make it the tote or evening option, as it’s a weight you don’t need to carry around when you’re shopping or sightseeing. Most of the top European designers like Prada, Gucci and Dior have the lightweight canvas travel options available for this practical purpose. They are bags specifically designed with an array of pockets for holding your stuff, be it credit cards, phones or passports, and they have zips for security. We have created several bags with theses factors considered. To dress them up we designed two bag charms which double as key rings. They are proving to be great gifts for women who travel. Look for our selection of makeup bags. We also have vanity bags in selected major pharmacies.

TRAVEL TIPS When you fly, you put your shoulder bag inside your tote so you enter a plane or train with one bag only. Don’t be tempted to wear the shoulder option. It’s too easy to lose.
