    PORT OF BILBAO CRUISE TERMINAL NEW MARITIME STATION In order to improve services for cruise passengers, the Bilbao Port Authori- ty has built, at a cost of 1.9 million euros, a new 1,400-square-metre maritime station, which has been in operation since early September. The building has several distinct areas including luggage check-in, luggage collection, waiting room, services and a tourist offi ce. The three main building materials used are aluminium, steel and glass, all of which are recyclable and reusable. They also perfectly set the building wi- thin its surroundings, where the Port of Bilbao cruise terminal is located next to a marina and Ereaga Beach in Getxo.
