Fazekas I. 2021: A Xerocnephasia rigana (Sodoffsky, 1820) elterjedése Magyarországon | Distribution of Xerocnephasia rigana (Sodoffsky, 1820) in Hungary. – Lepidopterologica Hungarica 17(1): 5–10. Abstract: So far, little knowledge of the distribution and bionomy of Xerocnephasia rigana (Sodoffsky, 1829) has been reported. The genus Xerocnephasia has one representative in Europe. A monotypic genus in Palaearctic. The author revised major collections in Hungary. He found that the species in Hungary is very rare and local. Most of the sites are in the hills and mountain ranges. Plains have only sporadic occur- rences. In the south- ern part of the country, the occurrence of the species was unknown. The author has re- cently collected X. rigana in the southernmost mountainous region of Hungary, the Villány Hills (Nagyharsány, Szársomlyó, 400 m). The first record of X. rigana (2 male specimens) was made by the au- thor April 26th, 2000 in South Hungary (Transdanubia); Natura 2000: 6240, sub-pannonic steppe grasslands. The species mostly prefers the following habitats: rocky slopes, steppes, karst shrubby woodlands, dry shrubs, sandy grasslands, and forest edges. The imagines fly from late April to late July, probably in two generations. The August and September flight period data reported by European literature are not yet known in Hungary. The study describes in detail the life history of the species and based on vouchers specimen’s geographical distribution is depicted on a map.     Oversigt over vikleroes udbredelse i Danmark (Lepidoptera: Tortricoidea) OLE KARSBOLT & EIVIND PALM Karsholt, O. & Palm, E.: Survey of the distribution of the Tortricoidea in Denmark (Lepido­ ptera). Ent. Meddr, 47:49-61. Copenhagen, Denmark 1979. ISSN 0013-8851. A list is given on the distribution of the 356 species of Tortricoidea recorded from Denmark. The division used is the same, which is being used in Fauna ent. scand., and deals with Il faunistic districts (Fig. l). O n! y 2 signatures are used, viz. X when the species is found in the di­ strict, and ? when a record could not be confirmed. The nomenelature follows Karsbolt & Ni­ elsen (1976), where synonyms are listed. Records for Ae/eris nigri/ineana Kawabe are Iisted to­ gether with abietana (Hlibner). The distribution of the Danish Tortricoidea is rather well known. More than half of the species (188) are recorded from at least IO districts, whereas only 12 species have not been found in morethan l district. Most species (319) are found in NEZ araund Copenhagen, where most Microlepidopterists have lived, and only 175 species are record ed from SJ, because a resident collector of these moths has nev er existed. New data on the distribution of some European species are provided. The male of C. depunctella Toll, 1961, is shown for the first time. In diesen 100 Jahren hat sich die Landschaft um Basel und damit deren Flora und Fauna stark verändert. Es liegt auf der Hand, dass sich die Gesellschaft auch für die Erhaltung der lokalen Insektenfauna einsetzt. Um die Flora und Fauna erhalten und schützen zu können, braucht es regelmässig durchgeführte Erhebungen derselben. Dies wiederum benötigt Fachleute, die die Arten aus den verschiedenen Gruppen sicher bestimmen können. Die Gesellschaft gibt seit 1951 die „Mitteilungen“ heraus, in denen sich eine Vielzahl faunistischer Meldungen finden.

Thisartide repartson interesting Danish Microlepidoptera collected in 1989, and o n reinarkable findings from previous years of specimens not definitive! y identified un­ til now. The classification and nomenelature follow Schnack (ed.): Ent. Meddr 52: 1-163. Four species are new to the Danish fauna: Glyphipterix schoenicolella Boyd, 1858 (Glyphipterigidae), found in great numbers in one ofthe very few Danish localities with growth of Schoenus nigricans. Eratophyes amasiella (Herrich-Schiiffer, 1854) (Oecophoridae) found at the most northern point of Denmark Hitherta it has strangely enough only been observed in Turkey, Holland and Nordrhein-Westfalen (Germany). Scrobipalpa ocellatella (Boyd, 1858) (Gelechiidae), two specimens came to light at Skallingen in the south-western part of Jutland. Bactra suedana Bengtsson, 1990, newly deseribed from Sweden and Denmark (Ent. scand. 20: 479-88). The North American tortricid Clepsis peritana (Clem.) has been found in three piaces in Denmark In a greenhouse there were man y larvae on Euphorbia pulcherrima. This is the first reported introduetion of this species to Europe. New Danish observations on the biology o f four species are reported: Elachista kilmunella Stt. (Elachistidae). The larva is yellow-white with light brown head. I t mines the lowest part of the leaf-stalk of Eriophorum vaginatum. The egg is often placed near the tip o f a ve ry smallleaf o r low down onalonger one.
