Çal›flma sonunda araflt›rma bölgesinden 14 tür tespit edilmifl olup bunlardan 13 tanesi bölge faunas› için yeni kay›tt›r. Anahtar kelimeler: Insecta, Hymenoptera, Pepsinae, Ceropalinae, Pompilidae, Fauna, Ankara, K›r›kkale, Çank›r›, Türkiye Abstract In this study, species of Pepsinae and Ceropalinae (Insecta:Hymenoptera:Pompilidae) of the provinces Ankara, K›r›kkale, and Çank›r› were studied faunisticaly and distribution of species in Turkey and in the world are given. At the end of study, totaly 14 species have been determined from the studied area. Of 14 species, 13 are new record for the fauna of the region. The park’s saproxylic beetle fauna, associated with dead wood and veteran trees, can be considered as nationally important. Du Nouveau Chez Les Pompilidae De La Manche
Du nouveau chez les Pompilidae de la Manche Le premier inventaire de ces hyménoptères, accompagné d’une riche introduction à leur biologie, a paru au printemps 2005 dans les colonnes de L’Argiope (N°48) sous la plume de Henri CHEVIN. La quasi-totalité des insectes, examinés et identifiés par le spécialiste bien connu en Europe de l’Ouest Raymond WAHIS, provenaient des captures de l’auteur et, dans leur grande majorité, de son rayon d’action privilégié, le Cotentin, en particulier Bolleville et ses environs, la forêt domaniale de St-Sauveur-le-Vicomte, la lande de Vesly, le cap de Carteret. Ce catalogue départemental, qui comprenait 31 espèces, était alors l’un des premiers réalisés en France, après celui de la Nièvre (MARION 1978, 42 espèces) et juste en même temps que le formidable inventaire des pompiles de l’Ardèche (WAHIS & SMISSEN 2005, 66 espèces !). Tout récemment viennent de sortir les listes du Puy-de-Dôme (DURAND 2007) et de la Corse qui abrite un nombre record de 74 pompiles dont 7 endémiques (WAHIS 2007). Rappelons que la faune d’Europe de l’Ouest compte 156 taxons (WAHIS, 2006). Au cours des trois saisons qui ont suivi, 2005 et 2006 notamment, l’année 2007 ayant été catastrophique sur le plan climatique, nous avons tous augmenté notre effort de prospection sur cette famille et notablement élargi le domaine géographique envisagé. C’est ainsi que 8 nouvelles espèces ont pu être ajoutées à la liste de la Manche. Ce sont elles surtout qui font l’objet de cet article. Juste une précision préalable : en 2006, R. -

Checklist of Pompilidae of the Czech Republic and Slovakia is pre- sented: 100 species are known from the Czech Republic (85 from Bohemia, 92 from Moravia), and 99 from Slovakia. Anoplius alpinobalticus Wolf, 1965 and Priocnemis fastigiata Haupt, 1934 are new species for Bohemia, Arachnospila conjungens (Kohl 1898), Arachnospila rufa (Haupt, 1927) and Dipogon mon- ticolus Wahis, 1972 are new species for Slovakia. Occurrence of the following rare species was confi rmed: Priocnemis pellipleuris Wahis, 1998, Poecilagenia rubricans (Lepeletier, 1845), Arachnospila westerlundi (Morawitz, 1893), Tachy- agetes fi licornis (Tournier, 1889), and Anoplius tenuicornis (Tournier, 1889) for the Czech Republic, Dipogon vechti Day, 1979 and Auplopus rectus (Haupt, 1926) for Bohemia, Aporus pollux (Kohl, 1888), Dicyrtomellus tingitanus (Wolf, 1966), and Priocnemis pellipleuris for Slovakia. The following species have been condi- tionally removed from the Slovak fauna until the material is revised: Priocnemis baltica Blüthgen, 1944, P. bellieri Sichel, 1860, P. diversa Junco, 1947, P. fallax Verhoeff, 1922, P. massaliensis Soyer, 1945, Arachnospila consobrina (Dahlbom, 1843), Evagetes sahlbergi (Morawitz, 1893), Anoplius tenuicornis (Tournier, 1889), and Episyron funerarium (Tournier, 1889). Majority of these species are highly unlikely to occur in Slovakia. Key words. The Leeds Naturalist Newsletter Winter 2016 THE LEEDS NATURALIST NEWSLETTER NUMBER 10 Field trip to Ledsham Dale on 10th August 2016 This meeting was attended by 6 members. The day was overcast with only light winds. Rain began as the meeting headed for its traditional pub lunch.. Perhaps because of the weather but mainly because of the late date some of the usual highlights were not pre- sent, notably Autumn Ladies Tresses and Marbled White butterfly. There was no visible trace of the Pasque flower or of its enclosure. But there were compensations. A male Brown Argus was the first for some years but there were few other butterflies. The large cuckoo bees, Bombus bohemi- Brown Argus cus and B. vestalis were plentiful. A magnificent Vol- ucella inanis was present together with V. pellucens, lots of Eristalis arbustorum, Syrphus vitripennis and Epistrophe grossulariae. Good numbers of Meadow grasshoppers, mostly in late instars, was an indica- tion of grassland quality. Two dragonfly species, Aeshna mixta and A. grandis were hunting over the reserve. Common buzzard and a distant Yellowhammer were the only birds noted. At Led- sham the grass had grown tall and was smothering many of the smaller plants, and there was no sign of the Pasque flower (Pulsatilla vulgaris). Similarly at Hetchell Wood we had to search diligently for another of our rarities, the Thistle Broomrape (Orobanche reticula- ta). -
