The Victorian Athletic League is offering all new athletes under the age of 25 Free Registration for the 2012/2013 Season. Anyone over the age of 15 and under the age of 25 can register free. To add to this, all first year female athletes of any age can register free. There is also a new youth series for athletes aged 13 - 18 years. This gives you the opportunity to run at over 30 different venues across the state.
Meetings are held from October through to April.
Meetings are held at places such as: Cranbourne, Dandenong, Daylesford, Geelong, Maryborough, Rye, Essendon, Wangaratta, Sandringham, Ballarat, Keilor, Noble Park, Yarrawonga, Bendigo and Stawell.
To qualify for free registration you must not have competed with the Victorian Athletic League in any previous season

The High Velocity Club provide sprinters, hurdlers and horizontal jumpers with the opportunity to participate in fast paced, event specific, high quality competition. AV registered athletes who meet the entry criteria (listed below) are welcome to compete. All races are graded to provide the highest level of competition, so that athletes can push each other to PB’s. All track events are electronically timed. This is a national level permit meet and as such international qualification performances and Australian Open Championships will be accepted by Athletics Australia.
