By TSB Circular 179 of 16 October 1995, the TSB announced the approval of ITU-T Recommendation F.32 (previously F.96), in accordance with Section 8 of the WTSC Resolution 1 (Helsinki, 1993), and by TSB Circular 104 of 23 March 1998 it announced the approval of ITU- T Recommendation F.1 “Operational provisions for the international public telegram service”, the text of which was revised by ITU-T Study Group 2. 2. TSB accordingly prepared a /LVW RI 7HOHJUDP 'HVWLQDWLRQ ,QGLFDWRUV allocated to countries/geographical areas or networks (first two letters) and assigned to telegraph offices of destination (third and fourth letters), in accordance with ITU-T Recommendation F.32 (10/95). This List also contains special origin indicators and indicators to be used in the preamble line of Government telegrams to designate international organizations pursuant to paragraph A218 of ITU-T Recommendation F.1 (03/98). 3. The new List, published as an Annex to Operational BulletinNo. 692 of 15 May 1999, replaces that published in Annex to Operational Bulletin No. 644 of 15 May 1997. It incorporates the 20 Amendments published in ITU Operational Bulletins from No. 645 of 1.VI.1997 to No. 692 of 15.V.1999. ITU OB 692-E / 4 4. In the interests of keeping the List up to date, administrations/ROAs are requested to check the accuracy of the information it contains – in particular the names of administrations and recognized operating agencies (ROAs) in charge of the telegram network – and to inform TSB as soon as possible of any changes which should be made for its updating (TSB fax No. , or telegraphic address ,78*HQqYH, or telex number XLWFK). Changes will be published in the following ITU Operational Bulletin as Amendments to the List. 5.
