Since 1995, Metro de Madrid has planned and completed five major railway construction projects, each on time and within budget, building Nearly 190 Km of new railway lines. This huge work volume has been strictly carried out complying with all scheduled opening dates, designing the most appropriate equipment for a trustworthy exploitation, modern and of quality for passengers at the same time as the necessary investment was optimised.
