Tu je objavljen še seznam nagrad in priznanj, ki so bila podeljena likovnim umetnikom ali teoretikom v letu 1989; tudi tem podatkom v Moderni galeri- ji tekoče sledijo. Seznam razstav Moderne galerije 1991 je objavljen v M’ars 1992 št. 2, 3, 4. Na kratko je predstavljena zgodovina in razvoj slovenskega kiparstva, ki je osnova za razumevanje kasneje odkrite javne plastike. Diplomsko delo prikazuje obstoječo javno plastiko, nastalo v letih med 1991 in 2011. Izpostavlja kulturni problem na področju kiparstva in s tem povezane javne plastike v času samostojne Slovenije. V tem času se je v primerjavi s preteklimi umetnostnimi obdobji odkrilo zelo malo javnih plastik, ki so nujne za spodbujanje in razumevanje sodobne kulture. V zadnjem delu diplomske naloge primerjam javne plastike med Mariborom in Ljubljano. Poglabljam se v razlike med tematikami nastalih javnih plastik, uporabljenimi materiali in predvsem njihovo pomembnostjo v okolju, znotraj katerega so postavljene.
