Dear friends,

This has been a year full of success and dreams come true. Our eleventh European Cup in Milan, the European Super Cup and a double League and Copa del Rey titles in are new achievements of the Real Madrid, always loyal to its principles.

The enormous success we have achieved in these 114 years of history has made our institution eternal. The only club with 20 European Cups: 11 in football and 9 in basketball. But also a club with a commitment to helping others.

Real Madrid is respected all over the world for its values, which have been transferred from generation to generation to make its emblem and its colours universal icons. We have also been able to incorporate into these values the effort to fight against inequality.

This Annual Report shows the immense work carried out by the Foundation in 73 countries. The Foundation is the soul of our club and gives hope for a better life to 50,000 boys and girls at risk of social exclusion.

Real Madrid will always be there for the most vulnerable, working towards a world without borders or barriers. This is our commitment and, just like out team never give up, our Foundation is an example of achievement and dedication.

We are insatiable in our quest for more titles, which we must apply in this amazing work that is part of our essence.

Being the most important club in history comes with an immense responsibility. A commitment to children, the elderly and those that are ill, to people with different abilities and to inmates, in territories that require the best of mankind, in areas of conflict, at hospitals and in prisons. Real Madrid will always be there.

Our jersey is and will always be one of solidarity.

Thank you very much.

Football social sports schools

Young people are the principal target for the Foundation and its social objectives. Through scholarships, in children’s shelters and in major children's hospitals, more than 9,500 be- neficiaries already participate each year in the different pro- jects made available through the Foundation’s social sports schools in Spain.

The football social sports schools are attended by more than 4,500 students in 45 schools throughout Spain. Four of these schools are inclusive projects specifically designed for children with special needs. One particular highlight was the opening of a second football project for minors with autism spectrum disorders, as well as the opening of social sports schools specializing in educa- tion in the values of integration in Albacete, Jaén, La Cartuja- Seville and the City of Madrid (in the areas of Aravaca and Montecarmelo).

The Foundation's social sports schools welcome all minors who wish to participate, without discrimination or prejudice. The scholarship system, created for the Foundation's projects not only guarantees equal opportunities for all children, regardless of their family circumstances Dani Carvajal with students from the social sports school in Guadalajara.

in the activities thanks to such scholarships. In this regard, the visit of the president of CLH, sponsor of the project in San Fernando de Henares, was quite remarkable, as was the magnificent reception given by the students of the school in Leganés to Dani Carvajal who, for another year, wanted to collaborate with the Foundation in the project that takes place in his native town. Dani Carvajal also visited the school in Toledo.

The Foundation’s schools and projects aim to serve all minors, whatever their circumstances and/or abilities. The projects are developed and adapted to each community according to its needs, and always offer a number of subsidized or free placements to allow all to attend without discrimination. In this way, the integration of everyone is guaranteed, whether or not at risk of social exclusion or social disadvantage and all can enjoy and benefit from the activities provided equally. This is a key objective in the Real Madrid Foundation social sports schools - education in values through football. They go beyond the development of technical skills in the sport itself, they are often the only places students can go to practice and play football without having much experience, belonging to a team, or feeling discrimination. The same thing occurs in Trinidad and Tobago, a country where the Real Madrid Foundation has been present since 2012 thanks to the partnership with Atlantic LNG. It began with the social sports school that was implemented in the Port of Spain, in the neighbourhood known as Belmont. In this school, there is a space for the protection and training for boys, girls, adolescents and young people, who attend public schools and because of their socio-economic status, do not have access to programs promoting healthy use of leisure time. In addition to sports, the beneficiaries receive Spanish and science classes, medical examinations and nutritional reinforcements, and a special emphasis is made on strengthening family ties through workshops geared towards children and their parents. And it was precisely thanks to the success of this Football training course with students from the social sports school school that in February of in Trinidad and Tobago. 2015, we were able to start a new project in Port of Spain in an area known as Petit Valley, geography and science, and of the Antilles and/or Salesian of AECID and since 2013 the the workforce at a very young 25 kilometers from the school nutrition workshops, in order Province of the Antilles San Mapfre Foundation has sup- age. This includes victims of anti-personnel mines or polio that still play and enjoy football with total normalcy, even while utilizing crutches, prosthetics, or Mekong wheelchairs.

In the training held in March, sessions designed specifi- cally for them were included: working on strengthening the muscle groups that help with balance at the gym, mana- ging wheelchairs and crut- ches with greater ease, and injury prevention.

The FDP Foundation in Romania, has made a great effort to secure funding for the schools through the creation of a SMS campaign and the participation of local marathons. Vodafone will finish financing this project and it will be the funds allocated by the Real Madrid Foundation clinics that will support the school financially. The schools’ audit report confirms the great work that is being carried out. They participated in the Copa Alma for the third time.

The local partner in Bahrain, the Royal Charity Organization, has worked to help orphaned children and widowers through provisions of educational, so- cial and health assistance since 2001. The Real Madrid Foundation’s social sports school is integrated in its line of intervention with minors. The beneficiaries have scho- larships for study, academic support, and medical exami- nations; receive psychological treatments; and participate in informative talks about healthy habits, fun activities and hob- bies. This season, the school’s direction decided to enrich what they offer in education and sport through the introduc- tion of the basketball discipline. This has eased the integration of girls, as it is a sport generally more accepted by families and communities.

The social sports project in the United Arab Emirates, with Baniyas Sports and in associa- tion with the Ministry of the In- terior and the Abu Dhabi Police, is oriented towards the social integration of young Arab immi- grants. Along with the practice of football, the beneficiaries participate in workshops about healthy life habits. This season, they received a visit from the Veterans of Real Madrid with whom they were able to play a friendly match against.
