Brothers, I am pleased to report that two of the four vacant Activity Director positions have been filled; also, the open position of Lecturer has been manned. Glenn Mutz is taking the Family Activities directorship and Dennis Bozimowski is filling our Church Activities director position. Vince Zawlocki will be our Lecturer. Please join me in supporting these men in their efforts for the council.

The CCA back to school has been completed, so we know that school will begin soon. Please be watchful around schools for smallest members of our community. A note for those with college age students: if they need books that they will not want to keep after completing the class, checkout CHEGGS.COM. I am told that books can be rented at a terrific rate and CHEGGS pays shipping both ways.

We are getting into the busiest part of our fraternal year. Please check the calendar and help when you can. Not only do we help each other, the church and community, we have great fun doing it. Come join us as often as you can.

Fraternally, Bob LaCroix, GK

Brother Knights, Why should you purchase a Texas State Charity Pin for $20.00?

Here's why? 1. It's a tax-deductible contribution to charity. Say your effective tax rate is 10%, that's $2.00 back in your pocket. 2. The pin is worth one free 50/50 ticket. If you play each month, that's a free $12 right there! 3. For the next three months, you will get a second free 50/50 ticket. That's $3.00 more. 4. It's a GOOD thing to do on top of the 17 bucks you get back! 5. Net cost is only $3.00 PoC: LJ , [email protected]
