Nombres Y Apellidos Cedula Provincia COMUNICADO Tunja, 1 de octubre de 2015 PARA RECTORES Y DOCENTES DE LAS INSTITUCIONES EDUCATIVAS OFICIALES DE MUNICIPIOS NO CERTIFICADOS DEL DEPARTAMENTO DE BOYACÁ Asunto: Informar sobre la aprobación del desplazamiento al municipio de Miraflores, con motivo de la realización de la fase final departamental de los XVI juegos de la Confraternidad docente 2015. En el marco del programa de Bienestar Laboral para docentes y directivos docentes del sector oficial, establecido por el Ministerio de Educación Nacional, el cual busca crear, mantener y mejorar las condiciones que favorecen el desarrollo integral de los educadores; igualmente atendiendo lo dispuesto en la Ordenanza No. 20 del 6 de agosto de 2010, se hace necesario aprobar el desplazamiento a un Una Primera,previo la llegada del elemento hispánico, caracterizada por la explotación de arcilla y piedra para construcción de viviendas y explotación de carbón para cocción de cerámicas;una Segunda de explotación de arcilla para la fabricación de adobe, ladrillo, teja de barro y su cocción con carbón y una Tercera caracterizada por la industrialización de la caliza para la fabricación de cemento; explotación intensa del mineral de hierro y del carbón para fabricación del acero,explotaciónde arcillas y arenas para la industria de la construcción. Drennan, Distinguished Professor, Department of Anthropology, University of Pittsburgh ii Copyright © by Sebastian Fajardo Bernal 2016 iii PREHISPANIC AND COLONIAL SETTLEMENT PATTERNS OF THE SOGAMOSO VALLEY Sebastian Fajardo Bernal, PhD University of Pittsburgh, 2016 This research documents the social trajectory developed in the Sogamoso valley with the aim of comparing its nature with other trajectories in the Colombian high plain and exploring whether economic and non-economic attractors produced similarities or dissimilarities in their social outputs. The initial sedentary occupation (400 BC to 800 AD) consisted of few small hamlets as well as a small number of widely dispersed farmsteads. There was no indication that these communities were integrated under any regional-scale sociopolitical authority. The population increased dramatically after 800 AD and it was organized in three supra-local communities. The largest of these regional polities was focused on a central place at Sogamoso that likely included a major temple described in Spanish accounts.

    Nymsuque: Contemporary Muisca Indigenous Sounds in the Colombian Andes Beatriz Goubert Submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY 2019 © 2019 Beatriz Goubert All rights reserved ABSTRACT Nymsuque: Contemporary Muisca Indigenous Sounds in the Colombian Andes Beatriz Goubert Muiscas figure prominently in Colombian national historical accounts as a worthy and valuable indigenous culture, comparable to the Incas and Aztecs, but without their architectural grandeur. The magnificent goldsmith’s art locates them on a transnational level as part of the legend of El Dorado. Today, though the population is small, Muiscas are committed to cultural revitalization. The 19th century project of constructing the Colombian nation split the official Muisca history in two. A radical division was established between the illustrious indigenous past exemplified through Muisca culture as an advanced, but extinct civilization, and the assimilation politics established for the indigenous survivors, who were considered degraded subjects to be incorporated into the national project as regular citizens (mestizos). More than a century later, and supported in the 1991’s multicultural Colombian Constitution, the nation-state recognized the existence of five Muisca cabildos (indigenous governments) in the Bogotá Plateau, two in the capital city and three in nearby towns. As part of their legal battle for achieving recognition and maintaining it, these Muisca communities started a process of cultural revitalization focused on language, musical traditions, and healing practices. Today’s Muiscas incorporate references from the colonial archive, archeological collections, and scholars’ interpretations of these sources into their contemporary cultural practices.

Estas eran tribus nómadas cazadoras- recolectoras. Fue hasta el ultimo milenio a.C. que con el cultivo del Maíz, las tribus pudieron establecerse en la zona Andina. • Así apareció la cultura Muisca. Se cree que se estableció entre el año 800 a.C. hasta el año 400 d.C. Fue una de las culturas más representativas del periodo formativo superior, y se cree que al aparecer, absorbió algunas culturas agroalfareras llamadas “Culturas Herreras”. • Por esto podemos decir que al aparecer los Muiscas, ya tenían una clase de Horticultura desarrollada. Although it is true that the imaginative and psychological aspects of the legends are of particular interest to the student of a foreign culture, a legend may contain elements of historical truth also. Son 70.000 hombres dispuestos a penetrar en los dominios del Zaque. Adelante van los soldados con macana y lanzas de madera, en el centro las armadas de hondas, atrás los flecheros, que llevan grandes arcos y agudos dardos con puntas de hueso. Manda la vanguardia el Cacique de Guasca, que ha venido a apoyar al zipa, su antiguo enemigo; Quixinimpaba, pariente de Tisquesusa, está a la cabeza de la retaguardia. En medio va el Zipa en unas hermosas andas adornadas de esmeralda y oro; es arrogante, de aspecto grave, alto, gallardo; lleva sobre sus hombros una rica manta de color rojo, pues aún guarda el luto por Nemequene, su tío y antecesor; el casco de su cabeza ha sido hecho de piel de tigre, y está sembrada de pluma; todas sus alhajas son dureas: la media luna que lleva en la frente con las puntas hacia arriba, el collar envuelto en la garganta, la patena que tiene en el pecho llena de figuras de insectos, los zarcillos que penden de sus orejas, la argolla que cuelga de su nariz, el brazalete que adorna su mano izquierda y el macizo cetro que empuña en la diestra. Los rayos del sol se reflejan en estos emblemas de oro. Detrás de las andas llevan las momias de varios guerreros, muertos en los campos de batalla. ¡QUÉ GRANDIOSO ESPECTACULO EL DE AQUEL EJERCITO QUE CAMINA CARACOLEANDO COMO UNA LARGA SERPIENTE!
