CASE STUDY Incentive Travel QUEST FOR CONVERGENCE “What a trip, what a great reward, roll on the next one” The Challenge Our IT client were looking for a creative and innovative way to: Drive engagement Boost sales Increase brand awareness Encourage loyalty Recognise and appreciate partners for their performance They required an incentive platform with an end of programme trip to a destination that created a ‘wow factor’ and provided a once in lifetime experience, generating lifelong memories associated with the brand. The Concept ...“to create engagement, awareness and excitement within the reseller community... We designed an online incentive programme called Quest for Convergence, with a ‘futuristic’ theme, to create engagement, awareness and excitement within the reseller community. The partners were incentivised to drive sales with the aim of gaining a place on the end of programme trip. The winners would be those that were in first place on each of the leader boards. Each of the four winners were able to bring a partner or colleague. The top performing Partner Business Managers were also entitled to gain a place on the trip. Tokyo was chosen as the incentive trip destination as it was the epitome of the ‘futuristic’ theme. A giant cosmopolitan metropolis of high-speed technology, innovation and ultramodern neon-lit skyscrapers, juxtaposed against the cultural temples, shrines and traditions. The Experience The itinerary was compiled with a mixture of Japanese traditions and modern day phenomenon’s, ensuring the winners experienced the city at its best. Guests stayed at the 5* Park Hyatt, which was located on the top 14 floors of Shinjuku Park Tower. The luxury rooms overlooked Tokyo and the Kanto Plain all the way to Mount Fuji.
