Project included construction of main road in total length of 8.9 km. Two tunnels constructed were: tunnel Čemerno and tunnel Surdup, in total length of l=2.305.00m. Tunnel Čemerno is 2,109.00 m long, and tunnel Surdup is 196.00m long. Both tunnels were constructed by applying the New Austrian construction method (NATM), including all electrical and mechanical installation. Reconstruction of RC bridge over the railway - rehabilitation of piers, bridge supports, connection of existing piers in single RC carcass, rehabilitation of the bridge substruction, works on carriageway and guardrail replacement. Works on piers recontruction are executed by excavation of earth to the level of existing foundations, the anchors are fixed on the whole pier height for making wall carcass between the piers. After placing the additional piers reinforcement, the formwork is placed on the whole height of the carcass for concreting the carcass. The bridge structure is leaned on two abutments and four river piers which are made in steel formwork, and the bridge structure is made of precast prestressed girders, L=40 m, T-2600. The girders are mounted with crane. Over the precast prestressed girders are Obayashi placed cross girders, and deck slab is partially constructed in-situ. The project included the preparing of design and construction of bridge of the total length of 148.25 m1, the total width of 8.16 m1. Bridge is based on reinforced-concrete piles of ø 1500 mm with five spans in the length of of 30,60 m1. The main bridge construction are precast prestressed reinforced-concrete girders on which the pavement slab is concreted in-situ. Technologically, the bridge construction started on the left side by mechanically construction of bored piles for abutments No. 1, and then filling of island and river piles. Preparation of preliminary design and Municipality The protection of island for construction of bored piles is executed by stone mound, and construction of bridge over the River Vrbas Sep 2005 - May Laktaši for the needs of pile concreting, the construction of cofferdam with steel planks.
